  1. i used to have this problem, felt like christmas eve when i was a child lol. i fish so often now this isnt an issue, i think about fishing all day long but when its time for bed i pass right out
  2. the swivels they use seem to be poor quality imports, i usually switch out the swivel for a spro or sampo swivel
  3. Wow had a shopping cart with 25 bags of plastics, woke up today and everythings sold out next time just send me a pm lol
  4. you can use any line on the reel you wish, the info marked on the reel is regarding line capacity
  5. try a darter head or put it on a swim jig I never really swim them personally I just put them on roundball jig heads for walleyes and sometimes smallies
  6. ive never needed to use more than 3/8oz tube and thats when i fish around 30ft, usually i go with 3/16oz up to 15ft and 1/4oz for up to 25ish
  7. those are awesome Ts I would buy one
  8. yup i store mine in the plano spinnerbait 3600 tray its great, holds 18 i believe. I have about 10 in there all 3/8oz
  9. i turned 24 in january, ive fished for bass and walleye since i was around 6-8 my dad has always been a fishing nut and has always wanted me to have a passion for it. I always enjoyed it but didnt think of it as something i could dive into, about 2 years ago i got tired of playing paintball and was looking for something new. While at my cottage with a girlfriend my dad took us on the water and i realized then that i loved fishing, since then i have been fishing a little too often. I would be out every day if possible, sometimes i find myself working for 12 hours then going out and fishing for 10-12 hours immediately afterwards. Then right back to work again, how do i sleep? My dad has become my best friend and im really happy we share the same interest
  10. sorry to hear... beautiful dog
  11. im hoping they now offer the BB1 in the 6.4:1 left handed with the multistop AR
  12. exchange it for sure, you bought the "big crankster"
  13. i wouldve gone ML instead of MH for those techniques personally and straight 6-8lb fluoro is great shakey head and drop shot you will probably be throwing pretty light weights, with that rod your casting distance will suffer and also you wont be able to feel as well either, just throwing it out there
  14. good stuff man nice looking fish
  15. my tv stays on wfn most of the time, i like the next bite love that theme song
  16. ah i didnt see that on the TW site anywhere
  17. My thoughts exactly mprestonSEK, i just wish some lures were offered in both so it is an option. For example the SK KVD squarebills if they offered both silent and rattling that would be nice
  18. Is it just me or are alot of the popular squarebill cranks silent? Im wondering why this is, because just because fish are in shallow doesnt mean they wont slam a rattling crank right? I see that alot of these squarebills are not even offered in non-silent versions, as a guy just starting fishing squarebills it feels weird to throw silent hardbaits. Also since were on the topic what are your fave squarebills? Id like to gather a bunch in the 3/8-5/8oz range
  19. the 40s are huge reels, i use a 30 size on my spinning rods and its perfect, same as shimano 2500. I grabbed a 35 by mistake once and felt it was way too big
  20. Last year when i started using FC i went with seaguar invizx and abrazx after reading positive reviews, i had great experiences with both. This year ill be using Tatsu and already have one spinning rod spooled with it, the stuff is extremely manageable.
  21. i dont see any reason for a swivel with cranks, i direct tie to the split ring.
  22. yeah i had the misfortune of coming across the subject on wikipedia once, quite the eye opener lol
  23. i retrieve with my left hand on both casters and spinning reels, everyone has their preference
