  1. I spray it on a microfiber cloth to clean rods/reels, and will spray the spool directly and wipe the runoff.
  2. Daiwa's green rod (early 2000's) was the TD-S.
  3. No. Life threw me a curve ball again this year and havent been fishing much. Thanks for the reminder...those are a solid deal at $8 vs the $15 of another knockoff I saw recently.
  4. You will like the carbon grips. They aren't slippery and clean up easily.
  5. It's just seems risky, but it was ok'd.. Maybe the mojo trigon sold better than I thought. I'll reserve judgements until I hold one.
  6. Wow...that really is a great deal. Rod is a feather and gets great feedback. FYI- I think being an 'insider' means you are on their mailing list.
  7. The one you would use the most, based on what you throw the most. We need to narrow it down.
  8. With the technology and materials we have today, reels getting 'geary' should be a thing of the past...at any price point.
  9. I'd be surprised if tariffs impacted the manufacturing cost of Senkos more than a dime a bag. I don't like paying more for anything, but I'm trusting the process. The market keeps setting records, as I'm sure your 401k shows. Isn't that the litmus test? It will be interesting to revisit this thread in a year or so to see how we've all been impacted. Edit- PVC resin is actually cheaper to buy now than it was in '24, because the price spiked early last year. (Google AI)
  10. I get the 'some parts of American products are made overseas' on certain items made here, but I was referring to the Senko. Vast majority of plastisol is made in America. Salt is up $20 a ton since 2019 ($74 now)...maybe that's the culprit. Time will tell if tariffs lead to inflation.
  11. I thought Yamamoto plastics were made here. Are Zoom and Yum the only major plastic brands not outsourcing? Edit- Google ai says yamamoto plastics are made in Arizona, so don't know why BPS would raise the price.
  12. I use megiars ceramic infused spray, but any of the automotive detail sprays will work (they are all water based protectants). I use the spray on my rod, reel, line, tackle boxes and boat. I will apply it to a microfiber cloth and wipe down my rod/reel, and them mist the line when I get home from fishing.
  13. Yeah, CXX and floroclear both have the fluorocarbon coating. I mean...they'd have to blend in something to make it float, and it would become a hybrid line like yozuri hybrid.
  14. I order from JLS all the time...it's a popular and trustworthy site. Shipping for a PVC rod tube via fedX is 5900 yen ($40). Just got a rod from them last month. No customs duties if its under $650.
  15. I'd order a '24 Poison Adrena from Japan Lure Shop. https://japanlureshop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=Adrena
  16. A monster! You could probably ski a 3lber.
  17. I love my 9 speed Zillions. The '16 Zillion is my favorite Daiwa to palm, but I haven't tried '24 Steez or Steez ct.
  18. Right now- 1/2oz paired with an attentoon-getting trailer 🌮.
  19. Well...I Intended on using everything I ever bought; I'm just behind 💁‍♂️
  20. I like redheads
  21. '17 Tat SV's with MB Rhodium spools (3g's lighter than stock), Rhodium CC cap, MB knobs, and SLP star drag (blue).
  22. What line and baits are you tossing on that and your 901?
  23. These are the 6.3 gear Rhodiums...the first were 8.1's.
  24. Bought these at the height of the pandemic in '21and never did post them. The OG '17 Tat SV is like the Curado B to me...a classic, so I wanted the Megabass version- the Rhodium. When the Yen dropped, they were what I went for first. Megabass went all out on these and changed the frame, paint, thumb bar, cast control cap, drag star, and spool. I put ZPI PG spools in these, and used the stock spools in another build. I have more and will post tomorrow.
  25. Japan appeased our President this week...got tariffs down to 15% 👏
