recently, i had my old mitchell 300x gold spinning reel with an IPT of 32 inches refurbished ... use it for worm fishing ... small 1/8 oz. buzz baits ... 1/4 oz. moss boss, 1/8 spinner baits, chug bugs, small frogs and t rigging worms ... mostly braid ... fire line ... and mono ... make sure you get a spinning reel with some guts for bass fishing ... fish and let fish ... good fishing ...

got mine yesterday from amazon ... as soon as it cools off a bit will put it to the test next week .... got for worm fishing ... i've had no problems with amazon ... good fishing

the humdingers on tw are made in Louisiana ... they sell a combination of 1/4 oz. in combinations of indiana, colorado and willow leaf blades in 1/4 oz. Hold up pretty good ... can get down here at walmart for 2.79 ... the 3/16 oz. lil mr. money by strike king is a well made spinner bait, too ... gets good results when downsizing ... used to use the hank parker classic 1/4 oz. white ... bass annihilated it ... parker won a classic using it ... but it did not hold up as well but did catch lots of bass ... can't find 'em now as easily and no longer use it ... Note: the classic spinner baits are available at tw ... good fishing ...

own the Shimano Sienna 1000 and Solstace 2500 bought yrs. ago at academy for 25.00 & 30.00 dollars respectively right off the rack ... use 'em for ultra light and light to medium light bass fishing ... 4 stars out of 4 ... both ... good fishing ...

people everyday catch bass using a slow spincast reel with a t rigged worm that brings in 15 to 19 inches per handle turn ... i've got some old bait casters that are slow by today's standards that i caught many a bass with a t rigged plastic worm ... the power with that reel is a plus, too ... good fishing ...

live in the deep south ... humidity has been at 85 percent and will go higher as the summer goes on ... i'm an old man so i no longer push the envelope and stay in the heat for long ... fish early in the morning ... sometimes at sunrise ... fish a few hours ... most of the time the bass are feeding ... sometimes not ... good fishing ...

inexpensive quality line with excellent abrasion, knot strength and hook setting. i change the line fairly frequently and use a line conditioner ... can get stiff and kinks after some hard use ... good fishing ...
