adding some finesse bass lures and sneaked in a couple of salt finesse plugs.

The two trout plugs got tiny FW trebles swapped for salt singles, and the finesse YoZuri wake bait will get salt trebles when I get there.

But wanted to show the excellent Jackall lipless bluegill plugs.  The no-motors reservoir we kayak is the first thing high in the hill country, and the headwaters of Cibolo Creek - essentially a preserve for our endemic bass.  No shad there, but plenty of native sunfish species.  I'll also do what most recommend and go up a size on the smaller Jackall rear trebles.

HUGE thanks to @BoatSquirrel!!!  He put a post on flea market forum, about sending some free ned heads and maybe some other free stuff you like/want to fish.  He sent the heads and a lot more!  I can't wait to get out to use them!!!  Thank you!

Rounding out the tools for a few Alewife lakes we're heading to soon.

zzzzzzzzzawf - Copy.jpg

Daiwa Tatula Elite Ish Monroe Frog rod 7’4 H/F

Daiwa Tatula Elite 8.1:1

50lb PowerPro Slick V2

Got for 20% off from Omnia thanks to this thread. Should arrive Friday!

Here is a little pickup I think is pretty cool, had these swim bait heads custom poured out of tin for use in lead free lakes.

3 packs missile baits Ned bomb, golden shiner core, baby bass tail, purple cloud chartreuse tail. Some Nedlock Z in 1/15 oz size 2 hook. Then we have some Grande air tail shad in ballistic gill. Then to end it some X Zone muscle back craw and adrenaline craw in Border craw color. Just my normal trip to the tackle store after finishing the work week. They are remodeling the store and stuff keeps moving, just another reason to stay in there a little longer lol.

Try some of the KO's and save yourself some money.

Little suckers are hard to get but someone posted on a FB swimbait group that a online swimbait store had some in stock and I finally got my white Shellcracker.

I got mine last week from from SBC. It got bit on the first cast in two two different lakes on two different days. My buddy wrecked 'em during the prespawn on this color. Might be special.

That's where I got mine, they had every color in stock, I almost bought a black one too.

What is a KO?  I would love to save some fishing money.

I bought a dozen KO Dark Sleepers for $15 shipped last night. Just have to be patient because it takes afew weeks to get them.

Care to share the brand/where from?

Couple packs of zoom finesse worms, some senkos, trout spinners, and 2 livetarget frogs. Also a 4 pack of Plano boxes because the bait monkey made me run out of room in my tackle boxes

You guys realize there's not a photo on this page.

50 mm (1/4 oz) YoZuri wake baits,

Gorgeous Duo Spearhead 3-4-g minnows,

and some serious Jackall crab bodies, that rigged for either swimming or crawling, look and behave more like a crab than anything offered here.

She Who Must Be Obeyed loves catching panfish. She'd rather catch a bluegill than just about anything else.

And I love when she fishes with me.

A little while ago she was griping about the casting distance on the little 5' rod she'd been using, so I got her a 6'6" Celilo. Ordered two because I had a 1000-size reel that didn't have a home, and this would give her a couple lure options she could grab quick if she needed.

Anyway, here they are. Spooled with 8lb braid to a 4lb leader.

Let's see what she thinks about her casting distance now.
