the last of my winter lure collecting, first, all big balsa for bass - a few propellers in there, Reptop has a prop in the back (or is it Leptop?). 

 

 

salt lures - everything on the left glows and sinks for night fishing.  The two lures on the bottom right are both tiny wakebaits for salt finesse - they'll get single plug hooks. We've caught over-slot redfish in back lakes on size 6 poppers, and the clear Ima Quoop 45 ought to be as shrimpy as anything. 

 

Someone spent a good chunk of coin. Nice haul!!

I put a lure cart together at Asian Portal for most of these - they've done the math and figured out it now takes $175 to get their gratis FedEx. 

Made my weekly the water is frozen in New Hampshire, so might as well buy tackle trip to BPS. Cool idea on these box’s. Wonder how long the sticky will last.  Mostly jerkbaits this round , one of my go to baits year round up here. 

I had been wanting to get another Orochi Diablo Spec R. They haven't be real easy to come by lately, so I kind of stopped looking. 

 

Then Megabass announced the $50 price hike on their rods. I decided to check out some sites to see if their prices reflected the new increase. Sure enough. Everywhere I looked had the Orochi's at $350 now. 

 

But then I come across Midway USA. Not only did they still have theirs listed at $300, but they had 2 Diablo Spec R's in stock! 

 

So I ordered one, and when it came via USPS, the tube and rod were snapped in half. I'm sure some may remember my post here about it. I called Midway, and they were great. They asked me what I wanted to do. Since they only had 1 rod left, I just placed an order over the phone, and decided to send the rod back the next day for the refund. Midway USA offers free shipping on orders over $49 (USPS). Or I could've spent $13 extra for UPS (which I didn't know until I called about my broken rod). The lady I talked to was nice enough to add UPS at no cost for the 2nd rod.

 

So I got my email confirmation the next day. About 4-5 days go by and still no update on my UPS tracking, which is odd. It still only said "label created". So I called Midway and they said it was definitely shipped out and I should have had it by now. She said it likely got lost along the way and that a lot of times the product never shows up anywhere. As in, someone takes/steals it. Great. So now I just assume it wasn't meant to be. Anyways, out of the blue 3 days later it shows up to my doorstep. 

 

So after that long story, which I just realized wasn't really necessary (sorry), here it is along with a few Shad Rap-5's I grabbed while at Cabela's. 

 

 

Some how 16 new DT series cranks showed up at the house today.  Don't know who would have ordered those but I put them in a safe place!

@Siebert Outdoors, these jigs are incredible. 

 

A few things stood out to me. 

1. The head. All of these are the G2 football head. The head seems like it is a mix between a standard football and a stand-up arky. It's incredible, and the recessed line tie is a great touch too. 

2. The hook. Never seen a trokar hook on a jig but it just spoils it. I very much like the hook diameter and the dark finish to it. It's just perfect.

3. And the colors. Really vibrant combinations of the colors I picked. Awesome! 

 

These are Mike's living rubber jigs, which I was more than a little excited for.

apparently there is something in the water as a bunch showed up here too and brought some dt fat and OG slim friends. 

I bit the bullet last night and placed an order with Scheels. Mostly terminal tackle, but I just couldn't resist picking up a couple of jerkbaits as I'm in need of some that run deeper than 6ft. It sure didn't take much to drop $100. I told the wife a few days ago that I didn't need much of anything. $100 isn't much, is it?

Went to Academy yesterday for one non fishing item and they have their clearance sale going on. Selection had been picked over some but still scored some ol monsters, flukes, rage bugs, rage tails, and fish head underspins for about half price. Don’t really need any of these, but hard to pass up a sale. Also picked up an H2O express bait binder. New product with 10 ziplock pages and an external pouch with small tackle box. Think it will be perfect for bank fishing and short kayak trips where I don’t need a ton of tackle or plastics. Will easily fit under my seat in the junk drawer. 

Backpaks ....Belt packs  & bank fishing.  Perfect together. 

Lost / stolen 1 tackle box on a busy bank of people.

Curado 150 MGL arrived. Fully satisfied with the fit of the reel on the rod pairing. I was very concerned about this while ordering, and reached out to y’all on a thread about your recommendations. The thing fits perfectly in my hand and is very comfortable. Lots of other very cool things about this reel.

 

I spooled the reel with 12lb big game for a little excursion soon to a ‘hole in the ice’ lol. But the reel is awesome. Thank you guys! This rod and reel is an awfully good combo now, I think.

I am no longer expanding my tackle, but just replacing.  In this case I pre-replaced things I haven't lost to try some new vendors. So yeah or no depending.  We will see what else I buy I don't need  

Been struggling a bit with life stuff and had a Cabela's gift card I've been sitting on, so I decided to treat myself with an addition for the kayak

With this order I learned that I hate waiting on backordered items. Paid during the BF sale and watched the dates get pushed back several times. On Friday TW updated again in the morning and the date was set at October 27th! Because of the paypal fluff up I ordered mine from ALF, so I checked with them. 30-45 days out! TW actually revised it up to Feb. 8th by Friday afternoon, but I was done rolling the dice. Bass season here closes for the spawn on May 1st, so no bueno. Cancelled, then ordered from Tackle Trap Friday afternoon. Got it today. Fast! Joy!
