Ran across some clearance little john's for $7 and cleaned them out.  Threw in my first rock crawler for good measure.

I have 2 of the four, the Legend Glass M Mod. and the 873 CRR. Both of these rods are amazing. At the time I couldn't get a Mag Bass NRX+ so I ended up with the CCR.  It's weird how it bridges the gap between the JWR and the MBR line.  The Legend Glass though, is one of my favorite rods. It's like the perfect crankbait rod.

Nice choices. Enjoy.

Thank you. I have wanted to try the original nrx 894 but the only time I saw one local I didn't have the money. I recall hearing a lot about the 873 and legend glass rods being really good. It's been a little over a year since I saw one, so I had to grab it when I seen it this time. That brings my Loomis collection up to 5 rods now, 843 and 844mbr conquest, 894 JWR glx and now these two NRX+. It's slowly coming together. Now if only this ice would go to be able to test them out. Then add my last rod purchase before it iced up a st croix victory mh f I have five new rods to put through there paces. I am going to be very busy in a good way.

Picked up the last of my stuff on my order

I might use it a little for frogging, I am thinking that it might be ok for some light punching and some 1.5oz grass jigs. I thought about waiting for the new ones to be released, but I figured why not give it a try. I have noticed that the new Expride rods have a different action to them, although I don't go off of  what it says until it's in my hands and I can compare it to other rods in the store.I was highly considering buying a p5 destroyer rod, the x-bites but it just felt a little softer than what I was looking for.

Thanks for posting that up! I've been looking at his cosmic spinnerbaits. Nice seeing a photo of it up close.

Yeah, they are pricy. To be honest that's it for me for now, I only got handful of them for the someone-else's-boat bag, or to take with me on 2-3 day trips. Most of the stuff is still stored in normal 3600 and 3700s or just regular Ikea plastic bins here at home.

I have that rod and fish water right near Kzoo.  It'll definitely do what you want and I think you'll love it.  You could add in a weedless magdraft and other 6-7" swimbaits.  I found it to be super versatile when the weeds get thick in the summer, horizontal punching w/ heavy grass jigs being one of my favorites.

Never fished a jig before and I want to try this year. I have no idea what I’m doing haha. I also don’t have a spinning reel so I picked this one up. I wanted to try something different and saw it recommended on tackle advisors

You'll enjoy jig fishing.  I hadn't tried one until last year.  It can be frustrating at first but when you figure it out boy is it fun.  They simply get bit

On the way back from dropping my mom off at the airport today...I really needed to use a bathroom. I convinced my wife that the DSG we were passing was perfect. So clean. I don't do gas station nightmare toilets. Nope. I swore I wouldn't go shopping. Sprinting upstairs to the fishing department and grabbing one lure I knew was on sale beforehand isn't really shopping, right? Right!

I’d love to try those but I tend to smash wooden baits into toothpicks  on the first throw
