Get Bit OutDoors has an amazing 75% off some items sale.

I just purchased a made in USA rod blank for $20!

And an entire custom rod kits are now under $50, and that includes the rod blank and guides, and reel seat, cork grips, hook keeper, and basically everything you need to build a full custom rod- except wrapping thread and epoxy.

I'm going back for 4 more made in USA rod blanks! Can't beat this deal anywhere!

I really would like to start doing this but all of the casting blanks that I see for cheap appear to be fast models. I do not see any for $25 buts some of the kits appear to be decent deals, I need to learn more about all the components....

Ark fishing is having a buy one get one on pretty much everything on their site on Friday...arkrods.com appears to be down currently but that is what the email stated.

Following up on this, I decided to order some rods since I felt this was a pretty decent deal and wanted some composite rods for cheaper than normal. While I am very glad they have the sale the way that it works is a little disappointing. If you purchase 4 of the same rod series then it works as expected. If you purchase more expensive rods and have less expensive rods then the less expensive rods are the ones you get free. I wanted 4 rods and was trying to get free shipping, I had 2 of the Cobb series in the cart and wanted 2 of the invoker series rods, when I added the invoker rods it then changed the cobb series to free and you purchased both invoker at the higher price. I was hoping if you bought 2 invoker one would be free and then 2 cobb one would be free but it doesn't work that way unfortunately.

Still a pretty good deal but wish it worked differently but I assume that is how they want it to work, I would have liked to have purchased 2 of the more expensive along with the lesser expensive but wasn't as good of a deal at that point.

Just thought I would pass this along.

50% off all rods at Kistler. Not gonna find a better rod for $150 than the Helium.

Just call them and talk to them about what you want. Kevin owns the place, but he has some great guys who know what they are doing putting all the kits together by hand. Steve is the person who took care of my son and I while there.

When I was visiting Get Bit OutDoors on Tuesday this past week, what I saw was that they stock a lot of RainShadow blanks. It seemed to be the brand they stock the most of. But I am not sure if any of the RainShadow blanks are 75% off.

I wanted to take a look at Get Bit's own brand of rods called "Liberty" rods made in USA. While looking at these I saw boxes of another blank called CB Slate blanks - also made in USA. And this is where I put my money this time and plan on returning to purchase at least 4 or 5 more of these blanks.

Steve put together a kit for my 12 year old son on Tuesday, and we started the rod on Wednesday, and just finished it up this morning. All the components fit perfectly.

Get Bit hooked us up! And for a great price too! I definitely want to get a few more of these blanks before they are sold out.

Just tell Steve the type of kit you want and he will put it together for you. You can choose from split grip to full grip and your choice of guides and color.

Our kit cost $43 plus tax out the door and rod was finished in 3 days. Can't beat it!

🤔Where are the pictures? I for one really want to see them.

The Hook Up Tackle has a buy one rod/reel/apparel and get one at 50% off -- TODAY ONLY -- until 4:00pm Arizona time -- you can call in or use the CHAT feature on the website (that is what I did) but you cannot just go online and order (I think they are doing that for MAP pricing as it technically is a "walk in the store and buy" only event) -- I paid full price for the first rod (the more expensive rod) and then got 50% off the second rod (and I had several Gift Cards, I had saved up the Gift Cards over a period of time, the Gift Cards covered the 50% cost of the second rod)

very intriguing, but the $30 shipping damps it down a bit. Should I spend 150 + 30 for the Helium, or just spend 200 to get the z bone and free shipping? They seem to share the same blanks, other components are similar as well. What justify the $100 MSRP differences?

I was in the same predicament…..go for the Zbone for the extra $20 all day!!!!

Spro.com

Bunch of random on sale, but rock crawlers, bronzeye frogs, Vortex reels amongst others.  Not the top colors, but ones that will work and for some pretty big discounts.

First time poster but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for this resource. I’ve found and taken advantage of a few deals from here. Just wanted to send some findings of my own. Amazon haul is great.

Berkley Choppo in maverick 105 is $4.89

War Eagle spinnerbaits are $4-$5

Swamp lords are $4.67 PS the popper style is a little smaller profile.

berkley, strike king, Yamamoto, and Booyah have the largest selection on Amazon haul that I’ve found. Rapala stuff pops up now and then as well, got some husky jerks for $3

happy I found this page and hope I can contribute more in the future.

The 75% off sale ended last night at midnight. But we got a second order in just in time and Kevin even replied to us after 7pm on a Sunday evening which is unheard of.  So thanks Kevin for being so responsive to customers!

You can see the entire kit cost under $43 including the Slate blank. Not sure why it says 6'10", but we purchased a 7' MH and blank sticker is in lower left corner. An amazing price for a full custom rod!

I loosely modeled it rather quickly off of one of my made in USA Falcon spinning rods. Placed the reel seat on the blank in nearly same location as the Falcon rod which is closer to butt than some brands are. We wanted to utilize more of the blank.

And the guide placement was a quick copy of a CastAway rod which had the same number of guides as this kit did. And I did not use the cork foregrip but more or less copied the Falcon rod with the addition of a small aluminum winding check which the Falcon rod does not have. I think mine came out a little cleaner looking than the Falcon rod.

Not bad for a rushed custom rod build from start to finish in under 48 hours with a super solid reel seat installation that included 4 epoxy applications: 1)initial install, 2) top pour down through it to fill gaps before initial install fully cured, 3)top fill, and 4)bottom fill for a rock solid reel seat install.

I could have completed this rod much faster had the epoxy cured faster. A new record for me. Fastest custom rod build ever. Just a straight forward minimalist build straight from the kit minus foregrip and addition of aluminum winding check.

We took the rod out bass fishing on Saturday and my son caught two bass on it already including the biggest bass of the day. He is looking forward to using this rod in saltwater for big reds and snook. And he is already ordering up his second full custom rod from Get Bit as well. His next one will be a medium RainShadow blank, probably 7'6" and include better components like an all aluminum reel seat from Alps with locking ring and molded to fit his hand better.

The only thing left to do on this rod would be to round off the corners of cork grips with some sandpaper. And my son is considering adding some decorative thread wraps on it down the road maybe.

Hook Up Tackle has a 30/40/50 sale today

Just got this deal from FishUSA

2 Items

1 x KastKing Skeet Reese Icon Spinning Reel

Model KKRLSPNSRS20GS

$99.99

1 x KastKing Skeet Reese Icon Spinning Reel

Model KKRLSPNSRS20GS

$0.00

Been following this thread for awhile, thank you all for posting deals :)  I was trying to post the one I managed, but the forum hates Chrome for some reason and wouldn't let me register.

Best deal I managed was a Curado DC for $185 after tax. I saw that Thruway Sporting Goods in NY has an in-store only 40% off reels deal, but I'm in Houston. Gave Academy a call and spent an hour with a lovely rep doing everything in her power to match it.

Something to keep in mind for deals you can't physically get to, Academy is the king of price matching.

Some very solid deals mixed in there. I will resist haha.

One time I bought a bunch of different JDM spinnerbaits from them to try them out and fell in love with a couple like the Apache and now can never get them lol. Sometimes it's better to stay ignorant.

Resistance is futile.

Yes.   There were some other gems too

FYI for anyone interested amazon has a the 753 Dobyns Xtasy for under $300 right now. That's actually a bit lower than what I paid for it last month (although I got the split grip and this looks like the full) but would argue it's well worth it at that price and has turned out to be an excellent rod for 3/8oz jigs and texas rigged ultravibes.

Sunline Assassin Flouro is 40% off on the SunlineAmerica website. $36 for 660yds of 17lb ain’t bad!

Well I had never heard of AMAZON HAUL but just ordered a bunch of stuff - interesting deals

I have a huge pile of hooks, fluro, senkos in various sizes and colors, craws, some hardbaits....so much coming. I hit their max discount on 2 different orders.

Get ready to have them show up one at a time, individually packaged. I came home to a mountain of envelopes on my doorstep.

Actually a lot of good deals on the site, just hard to find stuff. They do not have good categories etc, just have to search for stuff and see what comes up. The other thing that is crazy is how things ship, they must be coming from all over since I ordered a bunch of stuff and its coming in like 10 separate shipments and even though I bought multiples of one item they may come from different locations. Would like to understand what this is and how it works but the prices are dope.
