On a side note, can someone point me to / DM me a list of all the 'blacklisted' companies on this site? I feel like there are a few deal sites that aren't welcome on this forum, I just wanted to see the list so I can make sure i don't post one of them...

I usually see the ebay thing hit slickdeals before I get an email or app notification.  I think that they get sent out in waves.  

For anybody needing some #2 Gamakatsu round bend short shank treble hooks Cabelas has them back in stock for $1.88 per 9 pack. Standard shipping charge of $5 unless you go over the $50 threshold. They did fire up a new sale it looks like so maybe some other stuff a person needs to get over the free shipping threshold.

I did pick up the 7"6' Damiki Crankbait rod for about $52. I knew those would sell out considering they were $189 new with a TT review, full handle and were already reduced recently. I pulled the trigger once I saw stock got under 5.

 

I don't crank much, but my old crank rod is 7ft and I wanted a longer model. Can't complain unless its broken upon arrival ?

They are not a tatula or curados but they are a significant step up from the black max or silver max that's often pushed as an entry level reel. I am by no means an expert, FAR FROM IT,  but LEWS are quality reels.

If you call them and kindly sad you are disappointed in the sale, one had an attitude. They seem to have gotten too  big. Usually customer service  folks are nice there. There are other places to buy tackle and some are having across the board 20%.

1.99 for Mann's 3 and 3.5" paddletail minnow for 30-50 count got me to buy.

Picked up a Visicarbon Pro flag/light with mighty mount plate at my local Cabelas. Price on the rack was $95, which i was willing to pay. Rang up for $65. Nice!

They're marked down online to like $35, but it's very limited selection. You can do free pickup.

 

I'm curious how the clearance pricing works at Walmarts - why there's such wide latitude in pricing. The one near me that used to be best for fishing had a guy that worked in that department, he was there all the time behind the counter where the guns and stuff were, and there was a clearance section with good deals. He disappeared a couple years ago, and so did the good deals. I wonder if there is a sporting goods department manager in these stores with the good clearance deals like the one @Maxximus Redneckus mentioned.

Mine only has one model, spinning, medium heavy on sale for $25

eBay has the 8% back in bucks on $25 or more and 6% back on all purchases. I figure if your shopping anyways and you see the promo at least enable it before you purchase. It's not a huge discount, but every bit helps in the end. It's coming up to the end of the eBay bucks quarter so you'll only need to wait until shortly after the 1st for the certificate.
