Although I’m tagging @KP Duty has anyone bought the handles that came up on the Tatula 100 link KP Duty posted? I’ve only purchased from the linked site once but at those prices I’m willing to take a shot on a handle or 2.

Amazon has the Lews BB1 Pro in 7.5:1 left hand for 100 bucks right now. Said there were 3 left…until I got one of them 😂

I have purchased many handles from that site.  Which specific one are you referring to?  Most of my CF handles have come from there including knobs that are as nice as many Daiwa upgraded ones.  It just takes a while to get to your door but that's okay for me.  44 degrees here this morning! 

@Big-Bass I was more curious on the quality and fit rather than a specific handle. I appreciate you responding and it doesn’t sound like you had any issues 😃

Anyone know the details on ALF's Legacy Elite Black Friday sale that opens today? I see a few things discounted but not much. They are supposedly opening up their BF sales early to their membership owners. Don't see anything specific on their site referencing that/an email, etc

If anyone can help me to understand the new TackleWarehouse approach to combining Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the 12 Days of Christmas into a 2 month event, I'd appreciate it. 

 

I'm ok waiting for backorder items while my lakes are froze, but I don't want to make any more orders than are necessary...

Add the stuff you want to a wish list. If it's not in stock when it's on sale, typically you can place a backorder from your wish list. You'll have to be strategic about your backorder orders, as they'll only ship when everything from your order is in stock, so generally I would say don't combine backordered items with in-stock items, and realize that if you order multiple backordered items you're essentially waiting until all of them are in stock for your order to ship. Sign up for TW emails to get in on any early access, special offers, etc.

Do we know that is what they are doing? I have a relatively small but varied order to give to my father in law to order for a christmas gift. if it all can't be purchased on sale in the same order then they lose my business. If the Halloween sale was the start of this, they may have lost me forever as a customer, not that they or anyone else cares.

 

Them continually bumping prices by a buck on some of the items I had on my list is leaving a sour taste too when other places aren't doing that. 

 

I am at the point in my tackle journey, that I only need to spend 100 or less a year on tackle, unless a reel or rod breaks. I think I have defeated the bait monkey:)

TBH I'm not sure how so many people shop here. There's been maybe a couple of times I've seen them have the lowest prices on something and it's been reels that I don't want/have no need for. 

In the past they not only had the best selection, but they had the best prices and it wasn't really close. Now there prices are more in line with BPS and for Rage products, Siebert Outdoors has much better prices now.

If they just plan on having select stuff on sale here and there, instead of 20% off most everything like in the past...hmm. 

The apparent goal is to force you to make more orders as opposed to a single larger order. I'm out as I like to make one larger order. Trickling orders in is more frustrating and leaves a greater chance for a mistake or other issues. Bummer. 

Also it means they make more money as people will purchase things not on sale with things that are on sale... and then a week later they put those things on sale so people who buy those things will then buy other things not on sale.

 

It's a marketing ploy not in favor of the customer.

 

This is why people steal stuff from Walmart

I have no choice but to be out. My order was for roughly 50 bucks worth of stuff like jigs, some swimbaits, and a crankbait. Those fall in 3 different cycles. I will just be getting other things for Christmas or checkout Siebert.

 

If I can get the live chat again I may ask if this is gonna work like the 25 days, nope just read it is only one week at a time. The 25 days sale was nice that the prices held till the end. IMO they are just getting greedy, maybe sales are down who knows what the reason behind it is.

I would suspect a few things... A lot of us who have been around were really making out.  Buy the gift cards 10% off, then wait to use it when everything is 20% off.  And also keeps them from getting buried with orders in a 72 hour window from the "early release email" to the public opening.  

 

Curious how TacticalBassin buyer guides will promote this...

Well hopefully it works out for them and others on the boards. I personally just don’t have enough to order this year to make it work. Funny thing is I rarely took advantage of the gift card thing.
