Love me some Hall & Oates great Motown/R&B sound. Although I’m not a musician G.E. Smith sure could play guitar. I’m not technologically savvy enough to download it but one of my favorite bands are “Royal Bliss”, there song “I was drunk” is pretty relatable.

IMO GE never got the notoriety he deserved. Were it not for his stint as the SNL band, most would have never heard of him.

 

Speaking of blues guitarists, Buddy Guy is doing his farewell tour next year. I saw him play on multiple occasions at Buddy Guy's Legends over 25 years ago. My guess is if this is truly his last tour, there will be some big name blues artists on stage with him. Don't know if they are still scheduling dates. Right now there are only 5 scheduled in the Midwest.
