Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

I haven’t wet the boat in a couple weekends now, been working on our new greenhouse. Got all the outside sealed up today, as well as the three receptacles wired up inside, and all the insulation done inside. Now I just have to build the raised beds inside out of concrete blocks, fill it with soil and it’s pretty much ready to go.
Hopefully I’ll  have it wrapped up by next weekend, just in time for some cooler fall temps to get the boat out again ( it’s still crazy hot here for this time of year).

What do you grow in the winter?

A bunch of different lettuces and salad greens, peas, radishes, chives and a few other things. Our last greenhouse we built, we’d plant about this time, and be harvesting from early December all through till spring. Then we start all our outdoor plants from seed around late Feb/early March. It’s pretty nice to step in there from -30 outside in January, and it’s 80 deg inside and sunny, and you can smell the fresh dirt and veggies. I’m gonna park a couple lawn chairs in there and have a nice cold beer and close my eyes, pretend it’s July ?

This dog is snoring so loudly that somebody in this Zoom meeting just asked me if I was having work done at the house.

Nope. It's just a wee baby couch hippo.

My dogs would eat the eggs, the plate, and the tile if I gave them that scenario

Riggins just finished up with his last vaccine series, and since he handled it like a champ he got to celebrate with a McDouble.

The game didn’t go so well today. It was a David vs Goliath game though. The team we played has an incredible football program who’s varsity is ranked 5th in the state. 6poundbass, he added another 9 tackles and around 30 yards rushing to his stats. He’s pretty beat up and hobbling around now. The head coach for the other team saw us in the parking lot after the game and said “hey numer 1, you did an amazing job today”.

Proud dad moment right there!
