Speaking of eggs, here is some I pickled 5-6 months ago with some beets I grew. Anybody like pickle’d eggs? Beets? If you never hear from me again the eggs were bad 😬

Wife is from Pennsylvania Dutch country, they were a thing at family gatherings while the in laws lived there. I always passed.

We have one in Michigan’s UP where you can see around 50’ deep and there are some giant trout in there!

I think you could have seen that far, but I didn’t want to take my iPhone out to that part

Old memories- We fished this lake for the first time in 20 years last friday. The first time I remember fishing there was around 1987. We came in 2nd in a tournament then , catching many of the fish at the right side of the pic along a hydrilla line with  a devil’s horse. It was a team tournament and my friend lost a 4 pounder at the boat right at the lowest notch of the treeline to the right, that would have put us in first place.  This is also where a creek goes into another lake eventually.

The cypress tree line on the left produced 9 bass one morning when I fished it with my oldest son.

Sadly, the lake is so choked with hydrilla now it’s nearly unfishable, 😔 You can’t hardly get a bass boat in there now…

Henry is not the smartest cat but, this takes dumb to a whole new level! Hank’s getting his evening feeding and this is what Henry does. He’s lucky Hank isn’t food aggressive. 😂

I have a European mount . I found a dead buck while fishing . Removed his head then hung it from a basketball goal for a year and let the bugs do the work .

I see scaleface is a fellow bone collector.

Here's a collection I found during bird hunting during one month in Montana in 2021 including a cow, pronghorn, mule and whitetail deer, and what is in all probability a badger or like mammal.

My back porch looks like a bone yard at this point, although I prefer a "natural history sculpture museum".

PS: deer sheds make great dog chew toys 🤠👍
