fun ride and significant because that’s 7 month old hazel riding with her daddy in the red canoe. Her first boat ride!!! (She already has 2 life jackets to choose from)

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Nice pic

Took a walk down to the river behind the house this afternoon. We finally got down to -20c here last night for pretty much the first time this winter. With all the mild weather and rain we’ve had of late, the river is still pretty high and flowing, not much ice on it. Even still, I don’t think I’ll be getting the canoe out just yet ?

Julington Creek- Another creek I grew up fishing. That low Island was always a good producer on the side you see in the pic. Bass love bedding there at the base of uprooted trees…. We had a spring pattern in there that always produced. The last several times I fished it I didn’t do well though…

Love a good bald eagle photo.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Endangered Species Act.

The kid and I drove the sleds over to my brothers house today, and put about 25 miles on them, all bushwhacking with him and my niece. Went way back to a tiny, secluded lake that’s almost perfectly round, and surrounded by bog swamp. It’s a pretty cool spot, very peaceful and quiet. Lake is only about 8’ deep, we’ve fished it several times and it is packed full of hammer handle pike that are almost coffee coloured from the tannins in the water.

I’ve been around plenty of St. Bernards, maybe it’s just the picture, but he looks gigantic!

He is a big boy. Last vet check he was a little over 200lbs, but funny thing is his metabolism is nice and slow so he eats quite a bit less than our 140lb female. We adopted him when we was a few years old, but it would have been funny to see him grow up from a little pup.
