Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

Looks like you were at Bass Pro. Did the Baitmonkey get him?

Actually, his mother took him. She texted me the pic. I normally buy him a lure when I take him.

Big burl...

I’ve been hearing about getting the snowmobile out for a few days now, ever since it started to snow. Finally I couldn’t take it anymore, pulled the sled out of the barn this afternoon, started it up and said “go”!

As you can see by the second pic, he went?

Don’t you call them snow machines up there, or is that a Western Canada/Alaska thing?

Actually most people just call them sleds, but I’ve heard them called several things ( including rotten piece of ….) ?

Where-as I've never spent a winter out of the snow-belt. Only Yule times I wasn't in snow was the couple I spent with the mother-in-law, once in Boca Raton, once in Winter Park (Orlando suburb)

And it probably seemed like a foreign country to you, because it’s usually warm around Christmas there…

About 70% of it has melted since Saturday. At least you got to see it. Perfect for making snowballs!

Ain’t it nice??? I love snow, but then again ours is rarely deeper than 6 inches. That whole 3 feet of snow kind of thing would probably change my opinion

Dinner has been done since two, watched the Bills win, went out hunting, and now that I’m back home it’s time for my favorite time with the turkey…..making turkey salad! I make it every year, let it sit overnight, then eat leftovers and turkey salad sandwiches tomorrow while watching the high school football state championship games on TV.

The last hoorah! Drove around for an hour looking for open water. Been in the 50's all week but all my crappie spots still had ice. Drown minnows and worms for a couple hours with out even a nibble.

Picked our first bowl of winter salad greens from the new greenhouse today. Several of the different lettuces are a bit slower growing, so in about 3 more weeks we’ll be able to fill this bowl with fresh greenery pretty much every single day throughout the winter.

Teaching him it’s called fishing and not catching! That’s what it’s all about.
