that cannot be healthy to your roof.  I have a welded seam plastic roof and that would void the warranty immediately.

Asphalt shingle roof.

Not a problem.

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

I have no idea what the pitch is.  lol

Look at @A-Jay house, his is a 4/12 pitch. If your’s is steeper than it’s a 5/12, 6/12, etc. no bueno for walking on it with snow.

We use the same micro spikes hiking, you can easily walk up ice with them.

As someone that spends a lot of time on roofs fixing and building chimneys, I’d never walk on a roof of any sort with metal spikes like that. Not saying it would completely ruin most roofs, but metal spikes can sure tear up shingles especially with a lot of use, and make a darn good mess on a steel roof. When I’m building or fixing a masonry chimney, I always have to cover the shingles with carpets to not damage them. I find asphalt shingles to be quite east to walk on, especially if there’s some snow up there, unless it’s steeper than about 8/12 or so. Then you have to be more careful. As for @gimruis question, one side of our house is fairly steep, so I don’t walk on it in the winter, although I can walk up and down it when it’s dry. I go up a ladder to the other side, it’s only about 4/12 pitch. If you have a dish that collects snow, get a snow rake. We have one that is a three piece, snap together one that’ll reach 20’ easily to scrape off snow, I use it to get the roof edges sometimes, as well as our internet dish when it gets snow covered.

We hit the tailwater one morning at 14 degrees - it was a little colder than that this morning.

My buddy Ewell.

Danny wasn't sure we were having fun yet.

I released a huge rainbow hen, 26' - she fought so long and hard I pulled her against my leg and flipped the fly from her mouth - this was the only photo I got.  The reason I know her size, a guide's fare caught her two weeks later, and she's the current state record.  Though I've caught larger, and know of several others over 10 lbs.

That day did the norm for a s. Texas blue norther - warmed into the 40s.

This week, we don't get a thaw until a few hours around Christmas dinner.  But it's dry, no snow or ice, unless the sprinkler got turned on.

Well, woke up to an extra special Christmas gift this morning. Full

body aches and chills and coughing up a lung. I know what’ll fix it, go outside and clear 6’ snow drifts out of two driveways!

I can’t even see my truck right now it’s so buried.

That sucks! My wife usually catch’s something and is sick on Christmas and it usually catches up with me for New Year’s. We caught it about a month ago so we’re good this year.

Got er done! Nothing a couple cold medication pills and three hours can’t fix?. I actually don’t feel as bad now, other than sore shoulders from fighting the snowblower through 3+’ of snow
