From the last 2 days of harvesting. We’re completely inundated with cucumbers, can’t give enough away.

Dobsonfly above is a male (long mandibles). Here is a female that visited around the same time.

@Team9nine, I’m sure you’ve fished with live hellgramite somewhere along the way, the nymph form of a Dobson fly. One of the most magical baits I’ve ever used

Went out early this morning for a couple hours...only thing I caught was the sunrise

It is strange.  I could tell from the markings that the snake was a juvenile.  Those fish are vicious fighters when you hook them.  I don't know how, but the only thing I could think is the fish somehow knocked the snake senseless and then couldn't get out of it's jaws.  Very weird.

Didn't have enough time to take a full day trip into a backcountry lake, but it was still great spending a couple hours on some high country trails.
