The kid and I spent a bit of time today laying fabric on some flower beds. All ready to start plopping in transplants tomorrow morning!

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

My wife goes all in on getting nesting photo's this time of year.

We have several different families all going at the same time

This was from yesterday in one of the Blue Jay nests

We've got a chipmunk family living in a hole in the front yard.

Despite being quite young (and very small),

Simon, Theodore and of course Alvin

always stick together for support.

What’s with the bathtub toy? Did Tank leave that thing out on the lawn or what.

Have you verified they're all males? Wouldn't want to misgender them...

If that's a real pic, I'm impressed. Right place right time.

That's a little foam deal of some type of dog I think.

It's only like 2 inches tall.

Just wanted to put something out there

to get their attention.

Worked too.

I'm old so I forget.

It's either a photo grab out of a video

or I drew it up with a 64 box.

My first thought of 'a 64 box' was this

A senior citizen from Lake Charles Louisiana drove his brand new Corvette stingray convertible out of the dealership. Taking the on ramp west on I 10, he floored it to 80 mph enjoying the wind blowing through what little gray hair he had left.
“Amazing,” he thought as he flew down I 10, pushing the pedal even more. Looking in his rear-view mirror, he saw a State Trooper behind him, lights flashing and sirens blaring. He floored it to 100 MPH, then 120, then 150. Suddenly, he thought, “What am I doing? I’m too old for this,” and pulled over to await the troopers arrival. Pulling up behind him, the trooper walked up to the Corvette, looked at his watch, and said “Sir, my shift ends in 30 minutes. Today is my Friday. If you can give me a reason I’ve never heard before, I’ll let you go.”
The old gentleman paused. Then he said, “years ago my wife ran off with a Louisiana State Trooper. I thought you were bringing her back.”
“Have a good day Sir,” replied the trooper.

6poundbass can sling the football pretty well so, he tried his hand at baseball this year. Last night he was the starting pitcher. He started off a little rough with some walks but found his groove.

Well of course it was rough. There’s no mound to push off from and he’s on a softball field.

It’s a baseball field, the fence is 350’+. Their home field albeit not the greatest, does have a grass infield, is their normal field. In this area they prefer dirt over grass because of the up keep. Their “normal” field is pretty much all clover and weeds. We’re in the country so like we say, “ you get what you and you don’t throw a fit.” We’re not in the city anymore Dorthy.
