Well, no degrees or fancy job titles here just the school of hard knocks.  Worked at a fishing resort in Florida as a guide and boat handler for awhile in the 60's. Did a stint in the Army (Vietnam).

Retired LEO (28 years). I now work full-time running a tactical training complex (multiple shooting ranges, scenario training areas, defensive tactics gym, fleet of training squad cars) for one of the oldest police academies in the nation. Very blessed!

I’m a fourth generation stonemason, been doing it full time for 25 years now. I’ve actually worked on several properties where all four generations of my family have done stonework on over the years. When I was a kid I used to go to my dads jobs ( most are on the lakes around here for cottagers), and fish all day off the dock while he and his crew worked. I’d have lunch with them and then head back to the dock to fish. When I was 13 he told me to put down the rod and pick up a trowel. Worked for him in summer all through high school, then full time once I graduated. He retired about 11 years ago, and I’ve run my own business since then. I work by myself, taking on all kinds of stonework projects, as well as installing/inspecting wood stove/chimneys for insurance companies. It can be tiring work some days, but I love it ( don’t need to go to the gym either ?). I’ve worked for some pretty high profile people over the years, had some work featured in several magazines, and have never had to advertise for more work. The bonus part is that many of my projects are on islands in the summer, so sometimes I get to “sneak away” a touch early to fish my way home at the end of the day.

I'm a Plant technician 3 for POET biorefining at a plant about 6 miles from my house. POET is the biggest ethanol and ethanol co products producer in the United States. I'm mainly involved in the production of products and cleaning of plant equipment(operations side)...I also do some maintenance and I'm the plants lead contact on water chemistry.

For about a year, I worked on the rail/loadout crew at the ethanol plant in Arthur, IA.  It was the most interesting, physically taxing, and dangerous gig I've ever had.  This was about 13 years ago.

Landscaper, more of the hardscape variety. Concrete, pavers, retaining walls, pergolas and decks.

Were you at Ft Lee, VA? I was in logistics in the Army from 2003-2010.

No, I was located in Philadelphia at the Defense Supply Center there.  I made a couple of trips to Ft. Lee for meetings when I was an Inventory Manager.  As an account manager, all the accounts I managed were in WESTPAC.

I sell the raw materials that sign makers use to make signs.
