We are just getting school closing announcements. 70 mph+ winds, heavy rain, hail and a

high risk for tornadoes. My dog is already getting nerved up.

Ughhh...I swear I think TN and KY have became the new tornado alley. I hate cold weather and snow but no worries of naders.

Hang in there gents! Stay safe!

I'm getting worried...it's been unusually mild here in Eastern Nebraska this winter...only used the snow blower once this winter. Missouri got hammered a few times...and the Dakotas have seen some weather as well.

That just means bad weather is approaching...ugh!

North central Mo got hammered last night. Very heavy rain, some hail and winds. Be safe out there.

Last 12 months are record bad weather for N J . We ARE getting tornados !!   Large hail,  snow white outs with about 45 car pile ups & deaths from being burned alive.

Maybe all those experimental weather control stations by MANY countries MILITARIES is working badly ?

I listened to the storms while I was working OT last night 10pm-2am. We just had heavy downpours, lightning, and wind.

Batten down the hatches and secure light objects (garbage cans, pets, children, etc).

Fortunately we haven't had any major storms recently. Just below normal temps and record rainfall.

That is a beautiful photo. Kinda scary too.

Its been pouring here all day.  If I was to guess we are up to about 2" of rain so far.  I havent seen rain like this in a long time.

I hope everyone in the path remains safe.

Sorry to rub it in, but it was 84 here today and I took a quick 20 minute break this afternoon for some fishing on our docks. Caught one.

But we do have a wind advisory in effect with gusts expected to be 40+ mph. The wind is starting to move in now.

  • Super User

We've had 40+ MPH winds off and on all day. The heavy rain is supposed to hit us around midnight. At least that is there best guess right now.

^^^^Sad stuff right there. Wildfires are tough to fight here in the flat lands of Oklahoma, can't imagine what it would be like there.

Im glad this storm is gone, I just knew we would have a tree come down but thankfully we didn't. We had gusting wind most of the day and not much rain, besides losing power for an hour all is good. Im still going to do a once over to make sure we don't have roof damage.

So far , no deaths or missing persons reported. The fire is 5% contained, about 1,000 acres in size. It has burned 3700 acres, damaged 5 fire trucks. Over 100 structures were burned

Man, that’s terrible. East Tennessee has been hit hard by wildfires the past few years. Such beautiful country.
