Congrats to Gussy, winning a Classic with only 2/6lbs on the final day shows how big of gamble he took.  

 

With that said, the biggest fishing derby in the world should be held on a big Bass factory IMHO.  

 

I can't wait for the upcoming BASS Open on Toledo Bend.   Like a kid on the docks, I just want to see big fish caught lol.

He was actually “moping” most of the tourney.   He would throw in a drop shot, Ned rig, and Neko to give them something different when he would see them approach the Damiki and not take it.  Definitely a live scope decision.  He would have still caught them without it.  

*** just put out a great article/video with Gussy showing how he Mops with a Damiki Rig, not sure if I can post the link.

pretty sure @A-Jay was wearing Fruit of the Looms and rocking the Pro V-Bass before Gussy. Maybe a tie on the ladder of the two.

This was the classic to go to here. Had a blast up there this weekend and dean Rojas is probably the coolest down to earth pro I’ve ever talked to

Enjoyed being at the Classic. Met a lot of forum members and BassResource fans. Y'all are terrific, down-to-earth folks!!

Lmao this hits home. I was shot in line of duty in 2016 and was wearing green briefs (whitie tighties but green). Everyone got to see that hahaha
