Greetings from the great state of Ohio!

Featured Replies

Hello all!

Been a lurker for a while.  I got my start as a kid fishing for bluegill with night crawlers.  Since then I’ve fished for various species in different locations throughout the US and Canada.  However, I only got into Bass fishing seriously a couple years ago after moving back to my home state of Ohio.  I’ve fished at Burr Oak, Dillon, Rush Creek Lake, and Buckeye Lake as well as numerous other smaller lakes, reservoirs, and ponds around South Eastern Ohio. Happy to be here and looking forward to learning as much as I can.

Howdy!

Hope you didn't really mean that, Andy.

Anyway, welcome to Herr Fowler - pull up a chair and sit a spell...there'll be plenty of options for drinks.

I’m not from this part of the state originally, but my wife is. In my opinion if you enjoy the outdoors in general and hunting/fishing in particular, it’s arguably one of the best spots to live in the entire state.  I feel like I have my pick of a lot of solid fishing holes all within a 30-35 minute drive or less.

There's so much good multi species fishing in SE Ohio too. Catfish, sauger, walleyes,  crappies, white bass....and it will always be home.

Hello @bp_fowler from Northern California, welcome to Bass Resource and the Forums!

Checking in from Northeast Ohio. Heard there are some fun fish down there. Buckeye lake is on the list. May journey down for a trip some time. For now I will stick close to home! Welcome aboard!
