Lovely view of some dark clouds.  Near perfect fishing weather but I was in the back yard looking at clouds.

Yea, it was supposed to be 95% coverage here in Tulsa, but didn't get near as dark as when a severe thunderstorm rolls through

I went outside at exactly 2:02pm when "peak eclipse" was to occur.  It looked exactly like it did the rest of the day with a cloud deck over head.  Birds still chirping too.  Imagine that.

Partly cloudy was actually good....I was able to look at and see the sun without glasses....and only partially fried retinas

As Gimruis said - we had solid overcast all day long...no chance of even seeing Sol, much less Luna in front of it.

We had a perfect view here. I was conducting a thorough scientific experiment during most of the event. I concluded that fishing stinks during solar eclipses.

I'll have to weigh my results against the next one when I'm 160 years old or whatever.

I was out working in it and didn’t notice any difference in the light , and I tried hard to…

Some people I know did fairly well during the “totality “ here in 2017  @The Bassman

It was bright and calm with people all around. Yesterday was windy, cloudy, and cool. Made for my best outing so far this spring. I stuck close to home today to avoid the predicted traffic apocalypse that never materialized.

The 17 year locust/cicada will emerge this summer. That's something that everyone will see.

There will be two broods this year.

This is my third one. It was ok, my location was about 99.8 totality. Had my equipment and was hoping to possibly see Jupiter with the Pons/Brook comet to its right. I wanted to get that shot if possible but no joy.. a lot of cloud cover and a Leer jet with William Shatner flying around the sky.. 🤣🤣🤣

Anyway.

It was so cloudy here you couldn't even tell where the sun was supposed to be in the sky. They say the next one we could see is 20 years from now. I hope the nursing home I  will probably be in if I last that long will take me out to see it.

I thought it was stunning. Seen it twice now. This time a solar flare could be seen with the naked eye. Now I wish Betelgeuse would hurry up and explode.
