New addition to family, This morning.

  I know this looks like a fresh new calf. To me it's two glidebaits, three Vision 110's, tank of gas in my truck, a bulk spool of Tatsu.

Finally almost settled into our new apartment. Got around to getting almost all the books on shelves. 

 

@IcatchDinks, I wish that was almost all the books we had! My wife has enough to fill up a wal mart size bldg. I have like 8

It just looks delicious to me.  

I discovered today that I own 12 John Denver albums on vinyl. I honestly didn't know I was that big a fan.

That particular plane is one of the major reasons I got into engineering. As a kid I thought the sweeping wings were the coolest thing. 

 

Edit since I just read the rules.

 

I got a tour recently of the Grady White plant and saw how they make boats from the fiberglass molds all the way up to final cleaning. Saw a 40 footer at final cleaning that sold for 1.4mil. Really nice boats though.

 

And just like that, it’s back to work on the big lake. I even saw a couple fishing boats out trolling.

Been there - done that...

Sad to say we lost our Saint Bernard, Belle, this weekend due to a secondary infection from cancer. Crazy how fast 7 years went and seems like it wasn't that long ago when we picked her up as a puppy. Great memories that'll last a lifetime for the rest of us.  😞

 

 

 

35* windchills in the low 20’s, who’s up for kite surfing? Not me! I was giving words of encouragement from the warmth of my truck though. 😂

 

 

One of them kinda evenings. First one of the year. This March has been decidedly lamb-ish, and I’m even grilling before April. Feels good after a long, cold, snowy winter.

Crazies like that are all over - even before Lake Waconia (a bit SW of me) was completely ice-free, there was a guy out on his jet-ski. Saw him as I was headed to an appt. at the hospital in Waconia.

When I was in Florida last week on vacation, I went to Busch Gardens one day with my family.  Went on some rollercoasters, a safari, and walked around the place looking at a variety of wildlife, including these flamingos.
