What are you guys using? I'm using 15lb copolymer and it does ok

40# Sufix 832 to 12# YZH leader - since I'm pulling them across the top of submerged weeds, I want the braid in case they dive back down into them...the YZH is for shock absorption.

straight 15lb YZH is what Im using ... and always a cavitron

This year I went to 50 lb suffix 832 no leader on a 7’6 mh moderate rod and absolutely love it. I’ve not missed a fish yet the hook up ratio for me is awesome.

15lb CXX.  I did watch a 'bass pros' episode where ish was throwing buzzbaits on s 7-6 mh/mod fast rod with braid and  spoke of his perceived benefits.

My buzzers and spinnerbaits are on 17lb XL mono and it has worked fine.  The buzzers are fished on a 6'6" MH Rick Clune top water rod and the spinnerbaits on a 7' MH KVD spinnerbait rod.

I use 15# Copolymer works fine for me.

It's fairly stiff, but not terrible. I don't use any line condition on any line, haven't owned any in years. I use it for most moving baits where I need abrasion resistance because it's excellent in that category.

It would work, wouldn't be my first choice though.

50lb Seaguar braid. 

Anything from 14 lb Stren Original to 50 lb Power Pro.  I did try with 17 lb McCoy's Mean Green (copoly) once and didn't like how fast I had to keep the bait moving.  I've stayed away from sinking lines otherwise.

 

30-lb Sufix braid      

If I were using copolymer mono, I'd go with 15 or 17 lb test like you.
