For a while now, rumors have been going around that Zoom was going under/being sold. They have finally cleared the air on what is going on.

Dear Friends and Fans of Zoom Bait Company,
We’ve heard the rumors, we’ve read the internet chatter, and I’m here to set the record straight. While the global pandemic that shook the world in 2020 changed everything in the short term, going forward we expect to be stronger than ever—but before we get into the specifics, let’s take on the rumors one by one:

  • Is ZOOM for sale? Definitely not.
  • Did the ZOOM factory burn down? No.
  • Are we going out of business? Absolutely not. In fact, business is as strong as ever.

Yes, it’s true, inventory has been low in recent months, mainly due to supply chain and raw material shortages that many manufacturers are experiencing now. We know that it is frustrating when you go to a store looking for your favorite Brush Hog color and can’t find them anywhere. But please know that our manufacturing is running at full capacity.
Zoom is still family-owned and operated since we began in 1977. We are excited about what the future holds for Zoom and will continue to produce and sell the greatest soft plastics available.

Sincerely,
Eddie Chambers Jr.
Owner / CEO of Zoom Bait Company

I'm glad everything's okay Eddie but I'm running out of Lizards man!  I've got maybe 2000 left.

Hopefully they can figure out a way to get materials and get production ramped up!  My local tackle store has two Zoom walls and they are really bare!?

Great news!

Great to hear!!

Good to hear and thanks for posting.

Please don’t tell my wife.

I don’t be able to explain my last Zoom purchase.  Lizards and worms.  By the fistful.

:)  I never thought they were going away anyways.

If it wasn’t for zoom trick worms and ribbon tail worms, I’d have like no fish! So happy to hear they’re coming back stronger!

I am happy that Zoom is doing well. They make some of my favorite soft plastic lures. Even better is they make their lures in the USA.

That media release was a breath of fresh air.  A successful family owned business rebounding from adversity to remain a bass fishing icon.  That’s what I’m talking about!

? Thats a relief ! 2/3 or more of the fish I catch are with zoom products.

I don't think any zoom products make my list but there's probably 3 or 4 baits where if I heard they were going out of business or weren't gonna be made anymore I'd straight up buy 100 packs.

I only use their Trick Worms and Flukes, but those are HUGE producers that aren't replicated by anyone else near the same to me. That would have been a bummer to lose. Thank God it was all nonsense.
