Lost a good friend in a very avoidable accident.

This happened to me once when I was duck hunting.  I was walking through water about belly deep and I stepped in a hole.  The water started coming in over my chest waders.  Its like an anchor pulling you down.  Freaking scary.

Same thing happened to me. I was scared to death. Luckily, I was able to get my other foot on solid ground and get out of my waders. My day was done after that. I won't wade out past my knees anymore.
