Best Selling Soft Plastic

Featured Replies

I was bored and started thinking about this........What do you think is the number one selling soft plastic bait in the world, US, and Japan?

Hard to believe the 5" Senko wouldn't be up there.

Yeah the Senko. Other than that probably something from Zoom, Brush Hogs & lizards come to mind.

Senko would be my guess as well.

I mainly throw them, Dingers and ZinkerZ.

ever? or currently like year to date?

We talking bass fishing? Or any fishing? Factoring in the whole world, who knows. I’d say regardless of intended species mister twister grubs have got to be up there. Senko too for sure.

Currently.  I have a guess as well but I want to see what everyone thinks.

I bet they sell more 3in white twisters than anything

Ever - 7. 5" Culprit

Now - Stick worm

I think Senko brand is expensive enough to push away a lot of your average anglers. I would guess it is a Senko style bait, maybe YUM Dinger.

Here are Amazon's top selling baits, for whatever that is worth (not much maybe). I couldn't find anything else in my 90 seconds of searching ;) .

If I look at what's empty on the shelves currently nearby I would say it would be a trick worm and the rage craw.

That’s a neat trick schplurg!  Could you walk me through how to see it ranked like that?

ps. Never mind, found it. Just had to keep going through all the categories.

That's tough. I would think something cheap (which rules out Senko) and I would also guess it's readily available at a lot of stores (including Wal Mart). That being said, my guess is a Zoom or Culprit. Either a baby brush hog or a 7.5" worm.

How many Roboworms do you guys think have been sold world wide. ?

  • Super User

IDK!

Japan or world wide, I don't care!

Stateside probably a Senko but regionally would vary.

Zoom's Ultravibe Speed Craw is extremely popular round here.

Exactly what I was thinking.  Except for the baby brush hog.

So probably a Zoom Trick Worm.  If you go to Walmart's website, you can sort by "best selling".  And depending on what key words you use, you'll find a lot of Zoom Trick Worms, U-tails, and Yum Dingers.

I just took a gander at Amazon, where you can rank things by amount sold

#1: Bobby Garland Crappie Baits

#2: Yum Dinger

#3: Zoom Trick Worm
