What would you be?

 

I would be a super fat hippo  

An eagle so I could soar on high.

I think I'd go with a bird of prey too.  Maybe a peregrine falcon or a golden eagle.

 

Definitely NOT a sloppy fat hippo lol

If this includes extinct animals:

Choice 1. Neanderthal - Just to know how they think.

Choice 2. Megalodon - Why not?

 

If this is limited to extant species:

Choice 1. The immortal jellyfish (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Turritopsis_dohrnii) - Life cycles be damned.

Choice 2. Almost any owl - They're nocturnal, have swivels for a neck, and vomit the skeletons of their victims. SO. METAL.

 

A groundhog! Not just any groundhog but Punxsutawney Phil. You work one day a year, get paraded around by a couple of guys dressed up looking like doofuses, and mess with humans emotions by saying early spring or a longer winter.

 

Not too bad for a varmint. 😂

I personally wouldn’t want to be any sort of fish, just because the first year or so would be a nightmare to live through.

 

If we’re allowing extinct species, would like to be a dinosaur of some sort. Seeing what things were like back then would be cool.

I'm gonna say a Badger. 2nd choice, Bald Eagle. 

part of me wants to say tiger, because they're badass, and no natural predators, and they can go anywhere.  but i also love sparrows
