Goodbye, my friend.

My parent's dog Mya, a 16+ year old puggle has failing health and they have made the decision to put her down on March 12 at the vet.

I have spent a lot of time with this dog over her lifespan.  I dog sit her when they are out of town (and vice versa).  She and my own dog are good friends even though Cosmo tormented her when she was a puppy.  She was always very tolerant of Cosmo.  I still remember the day she became part of the family over 16 years ago.

It makes me sad and I am going to miss her but I know I'll see her again someday.  May you rest in peace, Mya.

Loosing a dog is extremely painful but soon Mya will be wagging her tail in doggie heaven.

So Sorry to hear about Mya ~

Hope you & your family can remember the good times.

Dogs don't die, they just run ahead to heaven and wait.

Dogs are the best, so losing them is the worst.

Just got word from my Mother that Mya is now in dog heaven.  They stopped at McDonald's on the way to the vet and got a cheeseburger happy meal for lunch that she scarfed down.  Gonna be a rough couple days for the folks.  They have 16.5 years of great memories that are never going away.
