  1. I'm hoping these fry get me bit this winter...
  2. The '24 Bassmasters Classic was won with a Duel flat minnow... https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Duel_Hardcore_Minnow_Flat_SP_Jerkbaits_110mm/descpage-HMF.html All time Bassmaster weight tally was set at Lake Fork a couple years ago. He used a Vision 110 and an unnamed Duo Reslis jerkbait. Rod was a 7' MLRB Tatula.
  3. Did you order the Bantams from Shimano?
  4. I still love my spinning rods. I can skip and jig baits more effectively with them. I have a bfs rig, but it didn't make me unload my spinners. I say use both
  5. I was taught to do so back in 1989 when I was 11. I remember burying 15lb CXX in my index finger one time. I quit doing it when I upgraded to high end rods in 2001.
  6. Lucky craft KJ Flat 1.5 or 1.0. Frittside 5 or 5 jr.
  7. I agree with you on the Kasumi 611...I have a pair that I hope will last the rest of my life.
  8. An uppercut wasn't in the script unfortunately.
  9. We have green grass in Tulsa...thought maybe it would make it to Thanksgiving, but it's getting colder
  10. High speed reels (8+) made a big difference in my hooksets. When jig/worm fishing, most anglers have a set number of times they crank down before setting the hook...usually 3-4x. So when you crank down your normal 3-4x with an 8+ speed reel... you have less line out and get deeper into the rod's power.
  11. I think you are both correct. He was designing this new bait, and there was a pen on his desk he wanted to use as a template. Denny Brauer only fishes the 6" version on a weighted EWG. 'Lift and glide'.
  12. And you said it wouldn't fit...
  13. They would work, but I imagine they wouldn't dry fast and would fray with use. I'd try it on a bait or 2 just for the heck of it.
  14. Spinning 95% of the time.
  15. I gave you a like, but you need to spread it out on the counter and get funny looks from your wife like the rest of us.
  16. Nice. The S3 has a closet fanbase, and a crapload of glowing reviews on TW.
  17. I did grab some mag finesse worms and mag shakeys, but the mag speed craw stole the show. Fat and soft.. plus you get 10 per pack. Red is a magic color here in Oklahoma, so jumped on some red ruby and tomato baits.
  18. Yes, but I don't fish them much anymore. I think how fast or slow you work them is key. Keep meaning to put one on a shakey head.
  19. Ghost has one....
  20. I don't own any higher end Shimanos, but the two Tat 80's I have are noticeably smoother than the 3 Curados I picked up recently. Everyone is giving the OP a hard time, but on the Tackle Tour forums, the Micro Module gears get bashed routinely.
