Today I caught my first 8" hudd fish... after over 100 hours fishing it over the years. I've caught fish on bigger baits but for some reason I could never get them on the traditional slow bottom crawl

Wife and I did a little fishing in Big Branch after dinner Sunday. It's basically little river, not far from the head end. Nothing big, but it's a beautiful place to bank fish and only about 4 minutes from the house.

When you fish all day in tough conditions to get two keeper smallies

and you're pretty darn happy about it.

These last two Sundays we’ve planned to get out. Both days winds, rain, thunderstorms have kept us off. Sun and clear skies after 11 today made it hard to get through the work day.

Nice work on the fish! What enticed them to bite?

Thanks - winds been a bear for sure.  Rage bug on a swing head accounted for these fish.

There's a video loading that will end up in the reports thread later documenting this one.

Here's to some fisherman friendly weather for us both.

Yep, worked fine for these ? . That was my first picture post, and I see a couple of pics ore 90 degrees out of whack. Got to pay attention to that in the future. Wife and I headed back there again a while this morning, it's overcast and a little on-and-off sprinkle. Pulled a 6lb'r out of there about a year ago.

Fished today 8:30-1:30. Got 9 with the best being a 4-2 and 4-15 on a buzzbait and a 6-10 on a double wide beaver. Best 5 for the day went 19-15. Pics of the 3 best.

Beautiful bass!!! What state are you fishing in?

went to virginia a few weeks back to take the family to busch gardens and was lucky enough to get some advice from @Darren. who helped me get on some fish by pointing out some really sweet small reservoirs. he even told me his top secret spot haha.  these were the best from  lee hall res.  all caught on rage shad and the jackhammer.

Massachusetts. And thank you.

Where about sin mass you from. I’ve been fishing in mass, can’t catch anything lately.

Kinda south central eastern mass. Northbridge

On the way home from work I stopped by a pond I have permission to fish and got this on the second cast.   I went home smelling like basshand as @Wizzlebiz would say.

Lately I'm happy with one in a row!

Tough summer ?

Resized952019100495190217.thumb.jpg.2fa0f464fc5da1ebc1aa7b4c88b05340.jpgFound a nice one today. 54° water temp

Just moved to Georgia from Florida. Caught 21 bass (including a few hybrids) yesterday on my kayak. Feels kind of strange looking at a fish finder and jigging a drop shot in 33 ft of water. Caught about 15 after that on top water... missed a lot too. Most within a 2 hour feeding frenzy during the afternoon. I might try a trout trip next.

Slow day with low numbers and nothing over 2lbs, but on the bright side the only thing they seemed interested in hitting was topwater.
