One of a few orders that I placed showed up today. This is my first Slideswimmer and will probably be the most expensive bait I have ever thrown . It better catch some big ones.

And 10 bucks for the little Yeti thingy, which was more of an impulse buy. I never carry bottles on fishing trips, I always go for cans of beer instead. But it looks cool on the hopper, so... Y'know.

 

I still have my TW Black Friday order on the way - they ran out of Deracoups in Dera Shad, so I had to wait - and another Amazon order with a couple of Flash Mob Jr. rigs, split rings, and CPS springs. Now those two will be worth sharing here! ?

Haha, they sent my Deracoup in Dera Shad the day after my primary order shipped.  

 

Never fished them, but Tactical Bassin said I should buy one ?

Same exact reason I got them as well as a couple of Damiki Vaults ?

 

Watching their videos just before a big sale gets expensive pretty fast.

For international orders they hold up the whole thing until every single item is ready to ship, so... Took TW a while. FedEx says my order is already in France so I'll probably get it in a day or two.

LOLOL....got two Vaults as well.    I normally don't buy stuff based on YT videos, but I've learned so much from those two guys, and they have a very good approach to throwing out multiple options of a bait to buy.....I think all they care about is you buy it from TW.

Truth. I bought 2 more LV500s when I was at the bass pro in Springfield just because of one video by them. It’s something like “Year Round Tips for Lipless Fishing”. It ain’t even tips; it’s just them talking 15 different baits. 
 

Now, I don’t normally watch TB and don’t really like them, but when I watched that video by them a while ago, it’s what started lipless fishing for me. I started with the Red Eye Shad. 
 

They talk so confidently about baits and rods and anything you can buy. It’s what they do best. Selling something.

They are great salesman, but ultimately, they are better teachers imho.    

 

I watched like 5 hours they did on big Swimbait fishing, I would have paid to attend a course to learn the stuff that I did and have already put into effect.

I’ve learned a great deal from TB. If you can identify their blind spots in terms of how they earn a living, ie little to no Diawa, Berkley, Strike King etc, they dole out great info. They seem very honest in what they say, just not as transparent in what they omit.

I don’t really buy something based off a YT video by someone who swears by it. Especially when the links they post are all to an affiliate (which most YT’ers do admittedly). I tend to see how the lure performs and then look it up on the web for pros/cons on it. If it applies to what water I fish mostly I’ll give one a try. If it does well I’ll buy more of them.

 

Now when I read here on BR about a lure someone has had a lot of luck with I may give it a try. Guess I tend to trust all you yahoos I only know from BR. ? If it’s on the internet, yadda, yadda, yadda. ?

That information could have helped me several years ago before I sucked into the whopper plopper hype.

I want to brag on myself a little. Since mid October, I've gone a little nuts. Purchased three new BPS Crankin' Sticks and Platinum Series reels. Last weekend my wife and I went to east TN to visit my grandchildren, son and daughter in law. I visited two BPS stores (Nashville and Sevierville, TN plus two mom and pops, I managed to not buy anything at all. My wife almost fell over. She even asked me twice, "Are you sure that you don't want anything?" I'm sure that the bait monkey will have it out for me in January.

First of a couple of JDM reel orders, ordered on Sunday, delivered on Wednesday. It happens every time but never ceases to amaze me. I will probably put the HD on the Zenon rod I got last week. I didn't order the cat ?

I have one Daiwa reel which I keep quarantined  in a different room from my Shimanos.

My Daiwa BCs play well with my Pfluegers...no Shimanos (yet), and my Shimano spinner seems to not mind my Pflueger, Lews and Mitchell reels....so must be a territorial thing.

NICE!   That reel is built for catching big fish, it's quickly become my toad reel.     I keep getting close to dressing up these Zillions at least with knobs.....I did it back in the day with my OG Steez.  I love the cork handles on these reels.  

 

That's a dang nice kitty too, I've got a Bengal and Rescue that inspect my tackle when I'm taking the pics for this thread too ?

I know everyone loves the bigger HD knobs but I'm not a big fan. I always look on Digitaka for the cork knobs whenever I place an order, they're so much cheaper and they are my favorite knob shape. You can also get cheap bearings on eBay to put 2 in each knob when you change them out.
