RipzLipz
Snagged a replacement bag on sale for $28 from BPS a couple of weeks ago. Old one was getting pretty ragged after 10-12 years of use. No boxes included.
Super User Jig Man Posted December 29, 2023 Super User Share Posted December 29, 2023 I have that same bag. I use it when I go in a friend’s boat. It holds a ton of stuff.

Are we seeing some shrinkflation on rage swimmers? I didn't think any size came in a 5 pack.
bp_fowler
Yeah I seem to recall they used to come 6 or 7 in a package… ***EDIT*** I looked on TW and they sell the various sizes in packages of 4-9 depending on the size for $7. The ones I have I got at Wally World and they were $4 for a pack of 5, but they only have the 3.25 and 3.75. 1

And color, obviously. Where you getting your Coastal's from? Man, I miss Farley. Believe it or not, Amazon and it was cheaper than most other sites at $219.80 vs $269. You can definitely find great deals on Amazon. Just gotta keep an eye out and watch for fluctuating prices. I got my Coastal off there earlier this year for $173. Super User gimruis Posted December 30, 2023 Super User Share Posted December 30, 2023 I stopped at Cabela's before I went pheasant hunting today to get a box of shells and made a stroll over through the fishing dept. There was a bargain bin of $2.99 hardbaits. Most were the green bass pro brand that I did not care for but mixed in were a few of the XPS "the egg" crank baits. I scoured that bin for all of them and found three. 10 bucks later... And just to clarify, my 2024 goal is to not buy any tackle. It's not 2024 yet so I'm good.

Super User Cgolf Posted December 30, 2023 Super User Share Posted December 30, 2023 Well I got my first Omina order, a single spool of the sunrise 10 lb 832 to try on spinning reels. I liked the color, but since I already have 5 spools of 30 lb, I didn’t grab this color for my casting rods. my wife also found me some glitter to put on spinnerbait blades.

Super User FishTank Posted December 31, 2023 Super User Share Posted December 31, 2023 This is my Megabass Christmas haul this year. I am still waiting on one lure to come in, backordered. My wife and kids helped out but this was mostly me and my gift cards. The sad thing is, this is one box out of four (maybe five). Everything else is non Megabass but I will post pics as I put this stuff away. The sales got me this year. 16
Big-Bass
On 12/20/2023 at 1:13 PM, NorthernBasser said: Few new rods. Daiwa Tatula Elite (2023 model, non AGS). 7'4 MH/Mod. Wanted another crankbait rod (and maybe bladed jig in open water). I plan on mostly throwing lighter cranks/flatsides on this. These new Tat Elites just feel so nice. I bought the 7' ML/Mod. casting rod earlier this year and just love it. It's a fun little rod for throwing squarebills and lighter lipless. They have really improved these from the previous version. Lighter, better-looking (IMO) and the new reel seat is extremely comfortable. The rod weighs only 4.32 oz, which is great for a rod that size. I'll likely pair it with Tatula SV TW that I already have. The Dobyns is the 744 "Jig Rod Special". I didn't need another jig rod, but figured I'd give this a shot. Definitely feels more like an open water/rocks jig fishing rod than flipping/grass. Not sure what reel I'll stick on here yet. Right now I slapped the Tatula Coastal on it just because it looks so purdy. But I make pair it with a Curado 150 MGL. I have the Randy Howell full grip version of the TE rod and I love it! I bought a second one when TTT was originally shutting down as a backup. Such a versatile rod! Big spinnerbaits, chatters, big cranks, and EXCELLENT with a Whopper Plopper 110. Nice additions you have there. Happy New Year and best wishes on the water!

Super User FishTank Posted January 3 Super User Share Posted January 3 This almost all of it for this year. I have few things I have been waiting on and a box of boring terminal tackle (hooks, weights, etc.). This is generally what I go through in about 3 months of fishing. Not pictured are a few packs of Zoom Lizards. I had a tuff year of fishing a spinnerbait so I wanted try some new ones and refresh a few that got beat up. The D-zone is one I have been anxious to try. I have a few of the Crush City baits. I haven't caught anything on them yet but they look well made. Maybe it's the smell. Also, there is jig in there from Deps called the Flatback. It's a 1oz punching jig that you can swim. Sounds weird but it works.

That’s a nice setup, I have been eyeballing those reels pretty hard lol. I had a concept c2 left hand that I gave to someone at my job who needed a decent bait caster. I have been thinking about a a2 just never committed lol.

Most likely it'll be a Curado 150 MGL. The Concept A2 feels nice in hand tho. For being 7.4 oz and with it's line capacity, I figured it may have a larger frame than it does. But it's a fairly small frame.
