Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Got a kick out of these huge markdowns.

Walked through the Walmart fishing aisle (as you always should when at Walmart for any reason) and found these Strike King "jig packs" on clearance for $2.46 each.  They each contain one jig and two Rage Menace trailers.  I bought one of each style and color.

DSG is having their "Biggest Fishing Sale of the Year".  I just picked up 2 1000yd spools of trilene  @ $5.50 a spool and trokar hooks at buy 3 get 3.  It looks like you can do the 3000yd spools @ 2 for $11 as well but that seems overkill for my needs.

I went to my local DSG last weekend and killed it.....  They had all those sales going on but they had a extra 20% community sale going on and it had no exclusions.  I picked a 12' Field and Stream kayak.  The regular price was $599 and ended paying $320 for it.  I also ordered (in store) a Lowrance Elite 7ti for the same price, $320.   I got pretty much everything I needed for my kayak and few other odds and ends as well.   I couldn't pass it up.

I love Trilene XL. I use it quite often in freshwater and saltwater. So I put 2 1000-yard spools of 17 in the cart. Hmm. Got ready to hit the buy button and went wth. Went back and put 2 1000-yard spools of 12 in the cart. Went to hit buy and said wth. Went back and got 2 1000-yard spools of 14.  :)

Couldn't use the promotion code, so 6000 yards cost me $41.06 including shipping and tax.

I'll share it when it arrives. But right now I need to stop celebrating the sale because I'm going to pick up my buddy to go to his 35-acre lake and load over a muddy bank. We're meeting 2 friends on the way pulling another 16' jon boat. I have a ****** strap in case we need to double up the trucks to pull a boat out. At least it won't be crowded.

My local Walmart had Strike King tungsten weights on clearance for $1.50 for a 4 pack. Needless to say I cleared out the clearance section of their inventory.

My local Walmart clearanced all their Strike King tungsten weights last year and never got any more in.  I was lucky enough to get there as the dude was pricing them all  at $1.00 per pack.  I patiently waited for him to price all 25+ packs and took them all.

Our local Ollie's had a small selection of Lucky Craft cranks for about $6 each, and Rapalas for $4.

25+ is better than I did. 8 packs was all they had.

KTP has Daiwa J-Braid, including the new Grand, buy 2 get 1 free. Looks like the deal ends today. They have all the sizes, the heavier test is under the "saltwater" links. Ignore the saltwater thing, there's no such thing as "saltwater grand".

If you've been wanting to try the Grand, this is a good deal.  You can add 6 spools to your cart to get 2 free ones.. and to get over 80 bucks for free shipping. Play around with the cart.

The KTP has the buy 3 get the forth sale a couple times a year. We always stock up during the sale ( we only live 6 miles away) This weekend they have all Shimano rods, reels ( inhouse only) 10% off. Just got back with a new Stradic. Would have got two, but they only had the one left.

Thanks for this, was able to fill out my easter basket with some power pro, trokar hooks, and some ploppers in the 75 size that seem to be really popular. Thought about the XT, but I already have a spool of 10 lb big game for my backing line, so 2000 yards more wasn't going ot get used anytime soon, great deal, but thankfully I kept myself from adding it to the cart.

Yep - 8000 yards of Trilene in 3 sizes, and a couple of packs of Tokyo rigs to try out for about $45 out the door(online). (I had a $5 gift card, and a $10 off Dick's Cash coupon).   Later yesterday I wen to the local Dicks looking for basball stuff for the kiddo, managed to get the cashier to reuse the $10 off coupon - so double-score!

Thanks! Got 4 spools. They also have senkos buy 3 get one free. Had to add some split rings to get up to $50 for free shipping. Of course Dick’s is sending 4 separate shipments.
