Just wanted to drop in and say hi to you all. I'm not as active 'round these parts anymore. Haven't bought anything in about 5 month. Haven't had the boat out in almost 5 months. Really sucks, but it'

Agreed! I couldn’t wait to buy a few things, but I still have a reel on the buy list, as well as some restocks. Maybe LV-500 galore too

I almost pulled the trigger on megabass stuff because they usually aren't part of any deals. We'll see if this week is any different.

I suggest calling shops and asking for a discount directly. This is how I’ve received NRX+, Steez, and MB discounts in the past.

Baitwrx has Suffix 832 braid 1200yrds 30lbs for $70

Also Suffix 832 braid 600yrds 25% off

Omnia is my favorite place to buy my tackle from now.  I've been a premium member for two years now and it's by far the best deal I've seen.  Being in Iowa I get my orders in a day or two and always have free freight with no minimum.

I'm probably one of the very few on here that lives close enough to buy my stuff there in person.  I am not much of an online shopper, and I refuse to buy certain items like rods without picking them up, holding them, and touching them.  The great part about Omnia is that they allow you to do that, just like a retail store.  But with a much better selection and far less people around.  Its like a hybrid retail-warehouse online order business.  Its very unique and that's probably why their business is thriving, which is why they had to move into a much bigger warehouse.  I also know the head of marketing there from a previous job.

Omnia is great when I need something fast. I still use TW more.

Agreed.

I’m a premium member and use Omnia when I need just a few things quick. I also try to buy expensive stuff there if they have it, to earn the points.

However, TW’s website is SO much better, so I do my major shopping there. Easier to search, better filters for search results, better layout, more helpful customer reviews, etc.

In summary, I will probably buy a premium membership again next year ????

Ps. That Baitwrx sale happening right now is awesome.

Hookup Tackle has their sale up. 15% off storewide, usual restrictions apply.

Is Tackle Warehouse really not having a labor day sale this year?

St Croix has a sale for retired rods and others. Mojo rods for $100

Some great deals on that site.  Avid spinning rods at $135 is almost a no-brainer, and that Daiwa BG3500 at $72 is a steal.  I might have to jump on that.

I already bought a mojo rod. Might have to go back and get the Avid one.

I was just on their site and they are doing a 15% off fall savings on 9/14-9/20. I was really hoping they'd do a Labor one since I have a tournament in a few weeks. Oh well.

The $135 is just for the 4'6 and 5' panfish rods. Just an FYI.

I know this isn’t fishing gear but Midway USA is having a great sale on Danner work boots currently. I just purchased a pair for $255.96 pre tax with free shipping normally $320.00 pre tax with free shipping direct from Danner and when I asked the Danner customer service representative if they would price match the customer service representative said jump on that deal. Needless to say I did and they are already in delivery ?

Just did another order from 6th sense on their clearance page and saved on average 55% on 18 new lures. Bought on this sale in the past and have caught lots of fish on the lures, so don't think that they are seconds, or if they are the blemishes worked in my favor.

Just got the tackle warehouse sale code. Check your emails.

I have a Loomis rod in my cart and the 15% discount doesn't show up in the cart, but in the past you've been able to click through to Paypal checkout and see the discount reflected. That's not working for me now. The same was/is true for a Megabass rod and a Shimano reel that I tried. I'd be interested to know others' experiences with this sale on some of the "excluded but not excluded" items.

Did you activate the discount through the email?

I did. I should clarify, the discount shows up for "normal" stuff, and I don't expect it to be reflected in the cart for Loomis/MB/Shimano, but in the past those items are discounted when the order is confirmed/invoiced. The trick to see it ahead of time has always been to use Paypal checkout to get redirected to Paypal and see the total with the full discount reflected. That's not working for me this morning.

Call TW and ask them.
