I wish I could get into St. Croix. They're located a few hours from me and I could go get mild defect rods or warrantied rods for cheap, but I've just never liked a St. Croix I've had or tried. They're fine rods, don't get me wrong, I just always felt a few competitors were better for the price.

Don't get me wrong, its still a good deal (they got some of my money), but it misses the mark for some things for me... like all St. Croix rods are excluded.

I think it had been posted a while back, but BPS still has 50% off all Power Pro. Good time to stock up.

I went Saturday after checking stock online, low stock to full stock in my ratings of choice listed as available which equated to empty racks with six spools total in poundages that were of no use to anyone! This happens every time I go there but this was the last time for me.

If there is a Dicks sporting goods near you, they will price match the cabelas flyer and have a better selection of Power Pro. I showed them the price for the 300yd spool on the cabelas website and they honored the price. I have done this before for cabelas sales ( 2.99 red eye shads a few months ago).

Man, EVERYWHERE has these reels on clearance! I'm thinking Shimano must be about to announce a new replacement model and they're trying to get these off peoples shelves post haste :).

Replacing with Stradic FL from what I've seen. Also, Academy has all rods 25% off.

They still haven’t shipped my order from Memorial Day and I’m waiting on an item from the Christmas sale too....apparently they can’t get trokar hooks in stock in under 6 months.

Weekly ad is good until the 22nd. I’m not 100% sure but that’s usually when it’ll expire. 

Senkos on sale at DSG..The sign was wrong but they honored the price anyway.  I picked up 16 packs and they let me use my coupon and my Dick's cash.  They came out to $2.75 each.

 

 

When you see clearances and sales that’s the time to buy and stock up.

many times as a kid I saved my lunch money on fishing stuff.

 

In the past with sales, the money I save I’m above the dollar menu at mickeys.

My local Academy has a lot of rods on sale. Seen the Dobyns colt series for $54, Fury series was under $100 (can’t remember actual price), Veritas and Vengeance Rods also had good prices. 

American legacy has 25% off certain G Loomis rods, 10% off Minn Kota trolling motors and the 25% off Sunline  is back
