Catt, I'd go straight to a true Cardiologist. Glad to hear you're stable.

Take care Catt. Hoping everything is ok.

Very scary stuff, wishing you all the best CATT

Wow, that's scary, hoping you have a full and speedy recovery.

Oh No ~

Sometimes life knocks us out for a bit and reminds us that we are not invincible.

Fortunately, it also shows us how resilient and strong we are.

And you certainly are that @Catt

To speed up your recovery, BR is sending you a supportive bundle of strength

gathered from all your friends here.

And we’re looking forward to hearing that you are on your feet again.

Your too tough to be out Tommy. Listen to the docs & follow their advice. Speedy recovery.

I had a very anti-climatic widowmaker about 5 years ago. Scary stuff man. Good luck on your recovery.

Get well soon, Catt.

Nice to know things are going better - that must have been scary, but they do know what they're doing. Dad spent his 68th b-day in Cardio-ICU - he just turned 88, still living in the house he and mom bought 36 years ago.

We're here for you Tommy - take it easy for a bit and listen to your Doc.

Praying for your recovery and for your family!

Listen to your cardiologist!

Tom

Whoa I'm glad you're still with us. Permanent diet change (mentioned above) is a hard thing, but a good Registered Dietician can help and it's 100% worth it. Wish you a healthy recovery!!

Sorry to hear that but very thankful you’re stable. Prayers for a successful recovery!

Permanent diet change

My Father had a heart attack about 6 years ago.  He had 3 stints put in.  Luckily my Mother is a registered nurse and she was home at the time.  She may honestly saved his life, if not severely lessened the outcome.

The cardiologist told my Father that a diet change had to occur.  He's always been in pretty good shape, never smoked, isn't over weight, and quite active for someone in his mid 60's.  No more bowls of ice cream in the evening though.

You need to ask around for a excellent Cardiologist.  Been there

Dropped totally DEAD no pulse in front of 30 ? friends.  Shafernack said I had hard as concrete material as the blockage causing 96 % blockage in the lower and 60 % in the upper chamber.

Rudnick had a special going in his department.  Pacemaker & Defibrilllator.

Shafernack went in a 2nd time. Same hard stuff to break up.

I had heart stopping attacks since I was 20 ish. Me Macho  I restarted by myself.   Back then ?  No sweat.

Line up a Cardiologist now.
