I make my own spinnerbaits with a variety of premade forms.  I use Stanely Wedge willow leaf blades, Hildebrant Colorado, or Indiana blades and Lumaflex skirts.  This is what I previously posted, but it some how got changed to Lumaflex skirts game changer.  I don't care, but it was odd.

They're not just a special spinnerbait, I'd rank them as one of the all time best lure designs.

 

The Titanium wire not only is vastly durable and superior in strength but it seems to flex better than modern day normal wired spinnerbaits.    You get that bait ball reaction better on rod pops.  

The durability is the primary selling point for me.  I fish a lot of spinner baits here and pike absolutely love them...and try to destroy them.  Eventually the frame will wear out and just break but I can get a lot of fish out of each one.  Quite often I have to change out the skirt several times before the lure itself is finished.  With a standard steel framed spinnerbait, the frame will bend or kink after a couple pike and then it doesn't run true anymore.

 

I counted last fall and I have 8 of them left in my arsenal.  Four in my tackle box being used and 4 more unopened in the packaging.

@gimruis  Crazy how nobody has tried to recreate them, buy the old design, whatever, just bring something like them to market.  

 

Why hasn't anybody made an A-Rig like them either.....makes me super paranoid fishing with them as is because even without fish catches you're always bending those wires into place and then bending them way down for storage.

 

Not a bait maker by any means, but I find it odd that Titanium isn't used more for different applications.  Bass anglers have proved to be willing to pay the cost for expensive, and more exotic materials like Tungsten.  

I make the majority of the spinnerbaits I use. I will also use the Stanley Vibra Shaft spinnerbaits at times. 

@AlabamaSpothunter I just looked, these are the ones I have still in packaging.  The far left one is not titanium, it's steel.  And the second one from the left is a special edition one called a short arm thump'r.

Lots of good ones already mentioned. One I haven't seen mentioned which is one of my favorites is the Z-Man Sling Bladez. Particularly in this color.

The Terminator double silver willow in silver shad paired with a pearl zoom swimming fluke has produced more and bigger fish than any other two spinnerbaits I have ever thrown combined.  

Stanley Vibra Wedge and War Eagle screamin eagle for mass produced.

I like the hidden weight spinnerbaits for smallmouth from small business, 1/4oz profile, 1/2 oz total weight from Snagler Tackle Company & Sick Custom Baits, .031

 

Battle Baits, homemade are .035

Oh man, no way I could tell you. When I want one I grab the size, color and blade config I want out of the box, I don’t look at the brand, of which I have more then several.

I mainly throw 1/2oz  Booyah Blade single Colorado in chartreuse & white, all chartreuse or all white with Zoom Split Tail trailer during the day; 3/4oz Booyah Moontalker in black with black nickel blade & black Zoom Spilt Tail or SK Rage Menace in MM Moonlight or South African Special trailer. I reinforce all rubber skirt bands with wire from twist ties (place in ashtray & burn off coating/paper); loop twice then 4-5 twists, clip & fold towards hook so not to catch vegetation.

 

On occasion a 1/2oz Revenge Bluegill single or double Colorado with 4.3 Keitech Swing Impact FAT in ayu, electric bluegill or sungill trailer.

 

Considering some Greenfish Tackle High Class Blade double Colorados:

Finding the wire is the hard part! I actually make some spinnerbaits on Titanium wire. 

 

I used at least two dozen different kinds of brands, I personally prefer Zman, OSP, and a famous JDM brand, bottom up. Bottom up is my go to bait.

  I'm looking for another small/compact spinnerbait.  Something that gives off a 2.5-3.5" bait feel.  The power finesse version worth it?

Blue fox! Inexpensive and they work

My all-time best producer was the Fleck Weed Wader. That bait won a lot of money in the 70's. I need to go on the auction site and see if any are still around. My current favorite is the Bottom Up Chibeeble which has a fixed chatterbait style blade ahead of the tandems.

Original titanium Terminators, War Eagle, Nichols, Strike King, Booyah and River2Sea are all solid. The River2Sea’s are particularly effective around wood

I've been making my own with heads/frames from LPO/ stamina for at least 25 years now. I use or have used several different styles,guppy, bullet , minn o spin, king spin, both painted and bare. They all work. It's more about what you want; basic or something more fancy looking.

Modified poison tail head. I like .031 super-stainless.
