favorite large worm

Cabin fever is getting to me. Here is another favorite thread. What large over 10 inches worm is your favorite? Brand , length, style, and color.

The two I have had good luck with are Zoom Ole Monster Junebug, and Gary Yamamoto 7 inch Senko, black. I know the Senko is less than 10 inches, but I still consider them a very large worm. The Zoom Ole Monster has caught my biggest bass each of my last two years. What are some other large worms?

Definitely a zoom ole monster or a classic culprit 10”. Watermelon red, junebug or black

Culprit 10” in black or tequila.

Zoom Ol’ Monster in black grape. Throw on a light t-rig, usually 1/8 oz bullet weight pegged.

2 come to mind, 10" bubbling shaker

I dont know if most people would consider it large, but compared to the worms I use, its bigger than most. The 7.75" kut tail has caught me some big summer bass.

Those are all my favorites, and I also like 10" curly tail Power Worms, especially at night. Actually, the only time I fish with giant worms is at night. Black, June Bug, and Black/Blue are my colors of choice.

Hag's Tornado *** - this worm moves an insane amount of water, lots of plastic and ribs, floats the tail off the bottom, and is pretty durable. If I were canoodling with giant mexican bass, I'd be throwing an *** in storm chaser at them trees.

Xcite baits maximus worm - I love this worm for the gnarliest weeds. It has an outsized presence while still being able to slip in and out of the cover relatively cleanly. Also floats well off the bottom.

KVD 10" bullworm - Yet another straight tail worm that is a "big for me" bass magnet.

Magnum baits mag stick worm - A 10" stickbait in junebug seems like the perfect mexican tree bass bait.

I own all of the above, but haven't fished the stick bait yet. They are my goto in May/June up here in MI.

Mann's 12in. Jelly Worm in dark plum, Zoom Ole Monster and 10in. Culprit. I also like the Mag 2 in black grape, but that's a 9in.

In curly tails the Original Culprit 12", Zoom Magnum Ol Monster 12", Bruiser Baits Da Big Nasty 14.25". For straight tails, I fish the Strike King Bullworm 10" and the Damiki Mega Miki II". In the Spring I throw the Bassmooch 14" Powerline lizards.

I've done pretty well on Culprit original worms in the chili pepper color, dragging them on a Texas rig.

The longest I throw is a 10”Rage Anaconda but most times a 7” Culprit Fat Max is big enough.

Both in Junebug or watermelon/red

Ol' Monster or Net bait C Mac in green pumpkin , plum or red shad

Mann’s jelly in the 12” ,June bug or green pumpkin color and the 10” I use Bass Pro’s squirmin’ super worm, same colors.

I haven’t had much luck with ether, few here and there. Seem to like the smaller sizes.

Caraway Creek customs RMAX 10 in GP

Typically the Zoom Ol' Monster. The color depends on the lake and the current conditions. My backup for tough days is the Berkley King Tail in junebug. That MaxScent will sometimes get bites when I am about to take a skunking. I keep King Tails and Generals in the boat for those days that they only bite the MaxScent.

Local pour - Dave’s Tournament Tackle 10” ribbon tail and also a big fan of the mann’s jelly worm. Culprit 10” ribbon tail if I’m at Walmart!

I use to have some long ring worms.Dont know who made them . I used them up in man made brush piles. Still have some 12 inch Manns Jelly Worms and I think some Power worms. They are not something I use a lot.

I usually like Culprit or Zoom Ol Monster

Zoom Ol' Monster

Big Bite Baits Kreit Tail Worm

YUM Mighty Worm

Since the Culprit is getting mentioned- are you rigging it correctly? The company illustrates it right on the package. You are supposed to rig the hook in the side of the worm...the side with the tail bend.

Zoom Ol' Monster (Green Pumpkin magic; Junebug)

10" Berkley Power Worm (Green Pumpkin; Junebug)

Mister Twister Hang 10 (Junebug; Red Shad) -- they don't get any attention, but pretty good.
