What are you going to throw with this rod?  I was looking at one myself but a "too good to pass up" deal came up on another rod, so I didn't get the 702c.  I was thinking of using it as a dropshot rod to replace a shorter/faster one I am using now.

I saved $1220 total.

 

I got the Xtasy's for $395 each, the Extreme for like $240, Champion Glass for $160, Champion Spinning rod for $150, Lew's TP-1 for $65, Fenwick HMX for $35, Lew's Tournament MB reel for $80, 13 Fishing Concept Z for $70, etc.. I got some great deals and this was my first fishing Black Friday. I used a 6'0 2 piece Ugly Stik Gx2 this past season and a Black Max reel. The year before that I started out with a Zebco 202 combo.

Ned rig, Shakyhead, Wacky rig and sometimes dropshot. I'm thinking the Lew's TP-1 ML Spinning rod might be my dropshot rod, but won't know until I get some time on them. The Extreme seems like it will dropshot good, it has a nice tip, but just not as soft as the TP-1. I'll have to see if the Exterme's bite detection is going to be better for me or the softer tip of the TP-1 for dropshot.

 

I did make some cast with the Extreme 702c with a Ned rig the other day in a small section of water that wasn't frozen yet, and it was super nice and the orange Concept Z looks crazy on it, but I'm sure some people won't like it. I have a feeling I will use that 702c almost as much as the Xtasy 723c.

 

 

What no boat LOL   You are pretty well set now.

That’s just the way I bought it, so I can paint it myself. Andrew also sells complete glides. This and his trout are two of the best glides hands down, at least imho 

Bizz Baits Black Friday for the win!!! Killer Kraws, Baby Bizz Bugs and a couple packs of Dizzy Diamonds and Sassy Sticks to try for the first time next season. 

The Baby Bizz Bugs made a bit of a comeback for me last year. I've used them heavily as jig trailers for years now, but I had some insane action rigging them alone on a Cadman's Smallie Crawlin jig in high river water.

I do really well with the Killer Kraws, but they were hitting a jig or Kraw 1:2 compared to the Baby Bizz. Needless to say, I burned through my stores and needed this stick up bad!

 

With this order I'm pretty well stocked up on plastic, Siebert jigs, Cadman's Smallie Crawlin jigs, hard baits.... Any extra gear bought would be purely Bait Monkey fodder at this point ????

 

Purchased by someone (identity unknown) on BR and sent to me via Fishmas 2019. My score and I like it!

My local DSG had sk 8XD marked down under $10+ buy five get five. These came in at just about $5/ crank after the discounts.

Black Friday goodies, ordered a rod too but it had issues so I had to exchange, replacement should be here Wednesday 

I purchased a Baby Bull shad as part of my BF order. I am highly impressed with it out of the box. I look forward to throwing it.
