Haven't tried it yet, but seems like a versatile color for many conditions. Silver flash minnow is definitely a confidence color for me when it's sunny/windy. J._Bricker
The Bait Monkey was able to provide a little bit of assistance with my latest tackle purchases. I picked up a couple of stock Shimano twin paddle handles for my Vanfords and a few other pieces of Megabass hardware. I hope the SuWITCHes work similarly to the Jackall Mikey Sr.s, which I haven’t been able to find. I was planning ahead for future fishing trips because of the current weather conditions in here in Cali.

Silver flash minnow and Tennessee Shad are big confidence colors for me but they all work lol

I love not paying shipping for items. fishing show’s in Michigan have been traditionally all about Great Lakes walleye and salmon. Starting to see more bass stuff every year.

Super User Master Bait'r Posted March 11 Author Super User Share Posted March 11 I gave in and picked up a bunch of cover scats and bull flats. I have a friend who last year absolutely CLOBBERED ‘em on the scat, it was basically his tourney winner consistently so I’m giving them a whirl. The bull flat I’m just taking a chance on, as it seems to fit my game perfectly- chunky and erratic and perfect for flipping into cover or working near structure. I grabbed the 4.8s and am definitely looking forward to seeing if they’re as good for my style as I think they’ll be.

Super User NorcalBassin Posted March 11 Super User Share Posted March 11 Despite the sale being pretty meh the past few years, still had to hit up the BPS classic sale to keep the tradition going with my dad. Since I was there... Picked up a Nasci 1000 for my kayak drop shot rod ($20 off with trade in). Also picked up some baby shad for the fall (small smelt) since they were 45% off Since we made the road trip to BPS we also had to hit the local tackle shop. Haven't tried the paddle tail zako yet and since summer will be here before we know it I also added some 1/2oz finesse jigs. 8" and 5" Magdrafts Haven't seen this color from them before and could see this working at Clear Lake next month.
Super User BrianMDTX Posted March 11 Super User Share Posted March 11 While I still plan on buying components and making weedless jigs ala @A-Jay design, in the interim I found these 1/4 oz. jigs with cone heads that I hope will keep out of the muck as much as possible.
J._Bricker
I seemed to have a lot idle time waiting for some dry, stable weather and busy hands occupying a keyboard to surf old fishing videos and tackle sites. Next thing I know it’s Christmas all over again 😀

Super User Darth-Baiter Posted March 11 Super User Share Posted March 11 kinda sucked since I had to take them all out of the packages to put on split rings. hard to imagine a bait at that price range not coming with split rings.

Jmurphy87
Well bait monkey got me again lol, just went to look at spinning rods I said. local shop had the first casting rod that I have seen in the st croix legend tournament bass series that I have ever seen, it sort of went downhill from there lol. 1 st croix legend tournament bass 7’3 mh 1 daiwa zillion sv tw g 6.3 ratio 1 spool of 14lb sniper 1 mini max 3/8 spot remover 1 pack mini zako sight flash 1 nichols pulsator 1/2 black red 1 megabass sv-3 1/2 hot tiger 1 duo realis nitro 65 bloody gold back at least the reel was $70 off so some savings, because you always need a new reel for a new rod right ?
