Eric 26
Although I had to beat the monkey into submission when my wife brought me to Wal-Mart earlier as I have a true love for the Strike King line of jigs they carry especially the finesse jigs I did appease him with a clearance item and a rod cover. P.S yes I’m drinking tonight 😉
Jmurphy87
I got a few more things lol, the jackal tn 50 lipless we’re on clearance for $9 a piece. I couldn’t resist, they got more colors of two taps. I wanted to try the red damiki vault in 1/2oz but they only had 3/8, 3/4oz I went with the 3/8oz. I wanted to get another pack of skirts but had to check my stash first. I also got another swim jig.I am really starting to understand my addiction, I catch some fish on a certain type of lure and then go nuts buying different colors to try out. I base it off what has worked in the past plus what I think might work. I know that I have a problem but it tends to make me feel good getting things to try. I haven’t encountered any financial difficulties as of yet, but if I keep going like I am it’s not far off. I need to get a cage. 8

Cbump
Bought these tonight. I almost never use a lizard except for with c-rig in the summer. But for $2.99 a pack I might try flipping these around this weekend. Anyone ever used these colors in anything?

The one I recall was a 6 inch manns jelly worm black with chartreuse tail. I have caught fish on it, I think that both of those color combinations should be great.

Cbump
What hook do y’all use for 6” magdraft freestyle? I bought some VMC drop dead 5/0 but they don’t have a wide enough gap.

I have friends who swear by the 8/0 Beast Hook.

I also can't believe I caught an 11 inch bass on it. 1

Super User gimruis Posted March 31 Super User Share Posted March 31 Really had some difficulty finding a black terminator spinnerbait the last while here. Finally located them on a Canadian outfitter website. Unfortunately its only the stainless version because the titanium one is discontinued, but still better than none. Black has been dynamite for me the past two seasons.
Super User MassYak85 Posted March 31 Super User Share Posted March 31 Just ordered some more vision 110s and various other things. I'm really excited to try the new 6th sense divine spinnerbait. My biggest complaint with most spinnerbaits is their trailers keepers are garbage or non existent. The screw lock seems fire. Hopefully the rest of the bait is top notch. I just need them to come out with more colors.

Went to my local store yesterday trying to find some more Ti buzzbaits and spinnerbaits, sales guy said pretty much nobody makes Ti stuff anymore because of the price. I'd pay $20 bucks vs. $10 bucks for a Ti Buzzbait for sure.

I've got about 4 or 5 in my tackle box, plus another 3 unopened in original packaging. Terminator still makes the same ones they did before, just in stainless steel instead. The durability is what sells me on those, they last for years compared to steel versions. Pike absolutely love spinnerbaits up here and they will bend a steel one with one vicious assault. I will say that eventually even the titanium version will break on you though too, just much later than a steel one. 1
galyonj
The monkey got me outta nowhere. The best part of ordering fishing stuff online is forgetting about the fact that I ordered anything at all, then the box shows up, and it's like a surprise gift from past me. Got a couple things from Siebert. I can't wait to see what I get all of them snagged on. 13
Eric 26
I took advantage of the bps trade in to upgrade some spinning reels this year. Starting out with this one with and hoping for 2 more this year. I was really torn between this and the Miravel. My decision was clinched with trading in a low end albeit literally like new casting reel and receiving what I paid for it in trade in value and having a $10.00 off $50.00 dollar purchase coupon.
