I got it out on the water this morning, I really liked it. I've never really used one so I thought it would feel awkward but it didn't.

Picked up some more plastics during a surprise sale.  This guy’s custom colors are dedicated to Cali, Oregon, Washington and Idaho. Good stuff.

I got my megabass popmaxs today. Will work on getting some photos up. They look a lot different than photos on tackle warehouse. Still like the look of em, and those hooks are crazy sharp

I really like the Katsuage hooks.

I guess you can't have too many BFS rods.

 

 

It's a blast to fish and definitely well made. I'll give more info after I have spent more time with it.

Okay y’all bad camera and bag lighting but here are Mr. Oldham’s trailer hitch jigs. I ordered these literally specific to Stillhouse. I figured that between these colors, I suspect there is one that will really work good for me. I think it may be the one with a splash of chartreuse. 
 

To Mr. Oldham’s credit, the jigs arrived very fast. I just didn’t realize they went to a rather unusual delivery location and I just figured out where they were. 

I got some of the new Z-Man Chatterspikes to try out. Haven't had a chance to try them yet. I thought they were just one solid piece. I didn't realize they had these 'cuts' in them. I'm sure that helps with the movement of the bait.

 

Curious how they perform compared to the Spunk Shad. These will be more durable since they're made out of Elaztech. I am digging the Bluegill color. Has that lighter blue that you see on their gills (duh) and then the green pumpkin with orange flakes.

 

I'm willing to bet they'll come out with a smaller size for the Mini Max at some point.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW, my Discount Tackle order came with some Bridgeford jerky. Did they just start doing this? I know Omnia does, even tho I've NEVER gotten any in my orders! ?

Those buzz plugs do work, they cast pretty good too. If I remember correctly it weighs close to 1oz. I have caught a few fish off them in the past, I used them at night also with luck.

then a crap ton of hooks, trying to find the right hooks for the 2.75 tubes has been a real struggle. I think I have some that will work out well, I even figured out a way to stupid rig the 2.75 tubes. Those 2.75 tubes have been a pain in the backside to figure out, although the river eats up quite a bit of stuff so at least I am supplied for a while.

Had a fun mail day yesterday.

 

The deps evoke is one hell of a lure @$50 its expensive but an engineering masterpiece.

I've yet to dip my toes into the BFS game, but I likely will next year.
