Got one box of fun stuff in. I am looking forward to trying the R18. I read a review that it is similar to Tatsu but far less expensive.  I'll find out next year.

I will be adding a couple of Evokes to my next order. I read several reviews saying the bill is fragile, but it was the 1.2 model.

I haven't tried the 1.2 but the 2.0 and 1.8's I have get banged around cover all the time.  Black Back Shad is a good color to start with.

And this arrived today from Amazon.jp - from the specs, it's basically a re-vamped CA-80 (aluminum frame, Magforce brakes (no - not the Z))..got it on special for $60

Couldn't pass up a 30%+ sale on kicknockers and I've been wanting to see if the fish around here will hit dice.

I have been wanting to try those dice but they can get pricey.  Below has been my alternative from Geecrack.  I cut the big ones into thirds after they are torn, the medium sized ones in half and fish them on a wacky hook. They catch fish believe it or not.

And - another day, another delivery. Between the sale price, a gift card and points, I paid $80 for this new.

These tackle warehouse sales are getting me! Stocked up on pretty much all my line for next year. 2 packs of mono, varieties of shooter for my flipping rods and leaders, and new powerpro to respool some spinning rods. Added some more chatterbait heads to tie up skirts and some zakos to try next year.

Was finally able to snag an original KGB 7" TSG. Missed out on plenty of drops but this color spoke to me.

Let's GO!   The excitement of "winning" a KGB bait is like catching a big Bass.

That colorway is dynamite, Kevin from KGB says bone patterns are his favorite.

Trying to be patient for the Threadfin colorway to be released again, there is another drop today a 12pm cst, and then another one later this evening I think.

I'm going to be good and not buy any more 7s, but I will probably add a 9 to the collection eventually.

ALF - send an E-Mail to 'secret@americanlegacyfishing.com' asking about the Daiwa Secret sale - get a code for 25% off all Daiwa. Reel is the 2019 model, not the new 2023 model. Code reduces the base price to $119.99

Not sure if deep cycle batteries is considered "tackle" but here is today's purchase.  I replaced two size 27 lead-acid deep cycle batteries with these AGM Duracells from Batteries Plus.  Each battery was 18% off, I received a $24 trade in on each of the old battery cores, and they come with a 30 month warranty.  This place is 4 miles from my house so any warranty claims should be about as painless if possible, should I need to do that.  I usually get about 3-4 years out of the lead acid batteries so I am hoping a set of AGMs last longer. Hoping for 6+ seasons.

I also got some tackle adjacent stuff this week.

Got one of these from Amazon, I couldn't find a decent one locally and Frabill doesn't have local dealers.

Also got a couple of Simms pieces, including that ExStream jacket in what I'm calling "Starfleet command gold". Found the last one in my size in a Spanish tackle store, I'm not really a fan of the current version of the ExStream, cheaper insulation material and a more bland design. I had two of these in larger sizes and I just had to grab this one.

Also snagged a pair of Costas during their Black Friday sale (Broadbill with green mirror lenses and Tuna Alley with Sunrise Silver), 50% off each + 30% off the second pair.

I still have an order of Zebco, Abu Garcia, and Strike King spoons on the way for winter zander fishing.

So that's it for this year. Definitely. Maybe. I think. I might pick up another rod before Christmas, that 7'5" heavy is still in my open browser tabs. 😅

ALF sales this year where amazing. I'm a Omnia premium member, I got like $50 store credit and still ended up buying an Expride B from ALF.

TW sales where I think pretty gray.

Just binged out on 1/4 oz Bitsy bugs and Berkeley chunk trailers along with the Strike King Tungsten Compact Tour jigs in 1/4 oz. FYI the new tour grade compact jigs from Strike King appear to be a a modern day upgrade to the Bitsy Bug….Tungsten head, slightly meatier hook, a little better action.

Got 8 Alpha rods in the cart as well ready to go along with some Bantams and Mets from Digitaka as soon as they replenish stock.

I love the off season 😁
