That's killer, from a drop?

Directly from his site. Follow them on insta and FB. He lists them as they become available and in stock. Check the site for what's available. He doesn't make it as hard as others do. None in stock at the moment.

Saw this at Academy today and had to pick it up for the ultralight combo. I have a handful of ultralight lipless and squarebills already, but definitely want to try out that micro walking bait and prop bait.

I made a little trip to academy after work yesterday. You guys convinced me I need to try spoons on these fish who don't like me, so the bait monkey won this round. Also going to try a much larger lipless (5/8) than I usually throw (3/8) to see what the fish think. If only they'd tell me...

My wife was going to the states, so I had to place an order for her to bring down to PV.  I started off with what I thought was the bare minimum, only what I really needed in my Tackle Warehouse cart.  The total was almost $600.  As much as I hate to see the Bait Monkey cry, I had to whittle the cart down to a reasonable amount.  It took some time and some items were taken off then put back on numerous times, but this is what I felt I could not possibly live without.  Total was under $200.  Package arrived in time for my wife to bring back on the plane.  Mission accomplished.

check out the new line dispenser packaging from Sunline.  Great idea, all line should be packaged this way.

Got a KGB Chad Shad in colorway 021 to compare with the SPRO version.   Some pretty big differences between the two just based on dimensions.   The real deal is more "snack sized", cast a x1000 better, and the finish isn't really comparable immediately jump out.

I threw it a bit earlier, and it swims awesome.....I can't do it yet, but it will completely 360 closer to the boat.

Wish I would have known KGB was short for crack ?

I wish I could just 'stumble' into an Addermine. ?

Anyone else been using these?

I’ve really been liking these line through jig heads a lot. They seem to give the baits a little more roll since they’re keel weighted.

@AlabamaSpothunter is the new SPRO KGB swimbait rod on your radar?

Haha, yeah I've been pondering it.    Got to get a second swimbait setup, pretty set on getting a Calcutta 300, but like this rod and the Leviathan Omega rod.

A buddy has a bunch of those rods, and they're really nice, and I love how they do the handle.   Then again I like the KGB rod's handle and cork sections more.

I don't have a good reason to buy another rod besides another Alpha Angler Wide Glide which I currently have, but you know better than me......variety is the spice of life ?

I am sympathetically excited for you and personally excited to see all the double digit bass you're gonna nail with all that treasure!

??????

Gotta try some of those axle jigs.  They look like a pretty brilliant design.

In anticipation of this fall's muskiepalooza, I decided I should get a proper reel for the task. There's a Daiwa Lexa 300HD on the way. The monkey says he approves, and recommended I buy a second.

Really excited to have discovered another local bait manufacturer!

I placed my first order with Bizz Baits yesterday.  Going to try their Dinner Bell buzz bait, the big thumper 5/8 oz single Colorado spinnerbait (night fishing anyone?), Got my favorite colors to try in their Bizz Bug and their Dizzy Diamond worm and I got some of their Flip n Skip jigs to try because I love the horizontal line tie, coupled with the head shape and the wire tied skirt!

They seem to be doing really cool stuff!  Check out Bizz Baits from Concord NC if y'all get a chance!  I'll let you know how I do on some of this treasure soon hopefully!  ??????

I've seen some Bizz bait decals around but never knew anything about them.  Does anyone remember the Fish Getter lure company,  and "Fish Finders"?   It was a local(for me) company when I was a kid.  A couple of my high school class mates worked there.   I think the company has moved, but it still in business.  I'll have to look into it.   The original owner passed away years ago.

Tomorrow morning I'm driving up to Martini Lakes here in Michigan for a work sponsored fishing tournament. Since I broke my good rod in the car door a couple weeks ago, I had to run to Walmart and get something somewhat serviceable so I wouldn't being showing up to a bass and pike tournament with a crappie rig.

Also restocked on hooks. I've been holding the bait monkey at bay pretty well so far this year...
