Ran into these fellas at a park in town, they are from Long Island, New York on their way to Sturgis for the bike rally then onto Yellowstone and wherever else they decide to go. Look at the engines, a pan head and a knuckle head and a rigid frame. Thats a tough ride on the glueteus maximus and the back.

That's impressive.  My hardtail days are looooooong over.  I'm more of the "Highway Lazyboy" guy now.  Love the panhead though.  Prettiest motor Harley ever made.  With the knuckle being the ugliest...lol.  Can't remember the last time I kickstarted a bike.  Now I'm about to hit FB Marketplace...

Last bike I owned was in '95 and I really don't miss it. I miss not having a boat which I have owned since I gave up bikes

Incredible sunset out at the ball field. We usually don't get red summer sunsets like this unless there's a fire in the area.

Back in the 90’s there was a squadron of them in Michigan and they’d fly over quite frequently. They are pretty impressive. Obviously I never heard that gun in person but I could listen to that widow maker bark all day! ??

Fish on!!! This as close to fishing as I’ll get at work. I have a 170lb fish (coworker) I’m the other end pulling mule tape proofing our pipe.  I’ll be the fish at the next box. ?

 

 

Wouldn’t be Labour Day weekend around here without a bunch of fresh pasta sauce being roasted. Got some dandy fat Roma's from the garden this year, and we always roast them with a bunch of other good stuff, then blend it all up and freeze them. Best sauce I’ve ever had!

6poundbass went to the NHRA US Nationals with my dad, stepmom, brother, etc. He and my nephew went for a walk last night and he came back with a rear tire, clutch plate, and a parachute. ?

SWMBO really latched onto the meme that ball pythons are the pet rocks of the animal world, and she gets all atwitter when he's exploring in his (too small now, but we're looking at upgrade options) enclosure, trying to deduce what he wants.

 

Personally, I think he was just excited about the massive dump he took. I'd've been proud, too.

 

Side note: I am reminded of the time he escaped off her shoulder, deep into the bowels of the couch. We almost had to take the thing apart to get him out.
