I have a feeling he and I would get along. We both like to bass fish.

I believe he’s referring to my neighbor with the Xmas lights left out for 5-6 years living next door to you. 😂

Sure, you & I would probably get along great as neighbors. We both like fishing & have a good & somewhat twisted sense of humor. Plus I’d get free monthly reminders when I’d need a haircut. I might get a few citations from the fashion police every now & then (shorts, t-shirt & sandals). 🚔

Had a couple passengers on the boat today, I think they really enjoyed their ride along.

  • After a couple of years of being used to make the new movie "TOP GUN-2" this F-18 E  has just arrived @ our facility in Jacksonville Fl. for rework, fresh paint and being returned to the active fleet.

After bombing and chasing each other all around out back for a couple of hours today,

Tank & Kya were fine with some down time.

Took river to pet smart today to keep him in a busy area with dogs. Wasn’t interested in any toys. He was very interested in the Guinea pigs though. He couldn’t understand why I told him those aren’t toys. He said they look like they’d squeak to me! IMG_2024-02-04-144223.jpeg.443bd7917471d73f6f462f99dd6dd823.jpeg

Wore them as a DI for 8 years.

Miles of marching and close order drill daily they helped slow heel wear.

Pretty sure there was a little bit of a psychological factor as well.

It's been really windy lately.  I'm considering a bigger boat.   (Actually I saw this boat when I was picking up snacks this morning.)   It looks like the rub rail is inflatable and it has some kind of jet drive.   It was huge.  I wonder if it's some kind of tour boat or something.   I didn't see the driver or I would have asked where he's taking it.

@A-Jay I didn’t realize sea horses & cats got along.

Caught this bandit out back last night. Good old Peter Pan Extra Crunchy Peanut butter for the win. Thanks to @TnRiver46 for his expert advice. Wanted to get this relocated before potential little ones became an additional issue. After catching it, I’d moved the trap up near the deck onto some pavers in hopes of avoiding a mess from it reaching out into the yard & pulling grass & mud into the cage. The little turd wasn’t having it & as you can see, pulled the cage over close enough to the yard to make a nice mess inside the trap. Was relocated to a nearby grain elevator about 10 miles south. I hope that’s the end of my coon issues but more will inevitably appear at some point. Have trapped close to a dozen if not more in the past 3 years.

There's something satisfying about learning to do your own maintenance on your vehicles. And then spending the money that you saved by not going to the dealer on new tackle. Bait monkey math calls that breaking even.

I love full penetration. Especially on a 3 pass weld. This was a destructively tested macro etched weld. IMG_2024-02-15-145413.jpeg.de94a3e2beb11e8bc668cf9c512c9dd2.jpeg

Finally got around to getting the rod racks installed in the garage. Pulled a few more rods/reels out of storage getting ready for the prespawn bite.
