RipzLipz
4 hours ago, Eric 26 said: @RipzLipz Every picture I see of Kevin brings a smile to my face 😃 Kevin is a turd, don’t let the cuteness blind you. He gets onto the bird feeder just to get me outside to hand feed him. He is one of my buds though. He always looks at me straight on, as the pic above shows. Almost as if he’s saying, "You will be hypnotized by my cuteness, hu-man, and you will bring me as many peanuts as you can carry." He also lays his ears back quite often when taking a peanut, as in the last pic. He will often just sit holding the peanut in his mouth, causing a stalemate of me holding onto it & him not pulling away. He’s a character for sure. Easy is my favorite of the males - he comes from a couple of houses away & will look in the windows for me if there aren’t any peanuts outside. He will also just run up to me on sight, especially of a morning.

Woody B
Staying home with 45 degree muddy water is a good idea.....but I can't do it. I caught a big ol Skunk today. I don't make excuses. I suspect a hammer was catching Bass while I was Skunking. The water was actually 49 according to my transducer, but my temp readings are usually a little warmer than others around here. I saw what I believe to be Bass hugging the bottom ~40 feet deep in the channels but couldn't get them to respond. I tried a little around shallow cover, but the 20 mph winds with 35 mph gusts made accurate casting......difficult. IF they were there I'm sure they were buried deep in the cover. Water looked like orange Gatorade. Added: I went all the way down to the dam. They're moving a BUNCH of water. All 4 generators were running and they had 4 flood gates open. With all this it was still within a couple inches of spilling. This picture is at Buster Boyd bridge. The water color was the same all the way down.

KP Duty
Saw on the news that a guy got struck by lightning, and a nearby surveilance camera caught it on tape. I'm like "I see him in the bolt!" So I took a pic of the TV screen.

Super User Jar11591 Posted January 16 Super User Share Posted January 16 Had to convince the old girl to come inside. She loves the snow. I guess that’s the American Eskimo part she has. She would stay outside in the snow all day if I let her. 14 years old and still going strong. Was just given a clean bill of health at the vet, too.

Super User Team9nine Posted January 19 Super User Share Posted January 19 Out checking water clarities on the local reservoirs since I decided not to take the boat out given the 30 mph winds and falling temperatures. Worst lake only had 6” of vis. - the best were closer to 20” plus some 10 days after our 4” deluge. More on the way later next week.

And still the best way to standardize clarity measurements across lakes without bias Great way to key in on presentation options and variables.
