I used to be in one group it was for a specific boat brand and I got out of that brand. I made a lot of friends on that page and met up with a lot of them to fish all over the country. I am still friends with some. I am an admin on another brand specific page and post there regularly. I was on another very popular page and had thousands upon thousands of posts but a group of my friends got in a spat with the site owner over a very bad interaction with a pro and we all got banned or left voluntarily. I spend a fair amount of time writing for Yamamoto’s Inside Line but the format has changed and I only send 1 picture per story. I am in a number of private groups that focus on specific bodies of water I fish. Being retired it’s good time consumer when I’m not fishing.

I do email some of my fishing buddies, my social media footprint is minuscule.

I post my Swimbait catches on another website which is specialize big swimbait websites, and I am a member of.

In 15 days I will have been posting fish pics (and eventually video on YT)

for 18 years here in the BR forums.

They might get shared on other platforms, but besides FB, this is it for me.

I tried posting on another SMB platform about 10-12 years ago.

Lasted a couple of weeks.

Turns out we weren't a good fit.

So it's BR or bust for me now.

Come to think of it, besides for my landscape business, I don’t think I’ve ever posted a picture on the internet besides here on bass resource. I don’t do the social medias.

Just here on Bass Resource. Do not post much of anything on FB any more. Almost never post on Instagram.

I post some fishing pics and info on my FB page, but all of my posts are limited to friends and I have very, very few friends on FB. They are people I'm actually friends with outside of FB.

Nope. This is my only social media.

I participate in other outdoor forums and my photos get posted there too.

Some are more hunting-related.

I do not participate in mainstream social media like FB, instagram, tik tok, etc.

About 15 years ago I was active on Florida Bass Network and it was a great site for about 2 years, then the politics, and lack of controls brought the site to a rapid end. We are so lucky to have Glen and his moderators that keep that crap out, and a focus on everything fishing. I thank you everyday!❤️👍❤️

Nah, just here and texting with a couple people. I was in a couple facebook groups for local stuff but it was 70% complaining or anything else negative, 20% “yeah, but”, and a post or two occasionally from someone useful. Not worth my time or mental energy when I can put my time here and feel so much better for it.

This s the only site I’m on, and I don’t post many pics or videos on here ether. I forget to take pictures most of the time… you know 5 minutes after you’ve turn it loose….. I think “ dang, I should have got a picture “.

Every Facebook page I’ve ever been on for fishing has been awful lol. But I do enjoy marketplace lol

Just here. I can't keep track of more than one thing at a time, so one forum is about all I can handle. Wife is on facebook so I don't have to be. I don't use any of the other social medial apps.

I began coming here specifically to post pics because nobody else was interested in seeing my stupid fish.
