I was told a stunted lake or pond was hard to cure. Heard old timers say” that pond is ruin-int, nothing but little ones”. I don’t know how true that is. I always thought, if you’d take a large portion of fish out, it would fix it’s self. Might take awhile, but eventually it would come around.

Depends on where I’m at, here on St Johns. Certain areas I won’t jump in. I’ve seen some huge gators, over 15ft. I stay in the boat in theses areas, other areas I cool off. I’ve even made a quick run to the springs, water is in the 70’s all year round. They even have a camp store that sells ice cream.

What will I do with my thumb?

I have a couple bags of the 6” never caught anything on them, I haven’t tried the smaller ones, I went to a different creature bait.

Try going to “secret lures” the have tube jigs head that the weight is inside the tube. They have videos they show how to rig them. I really like them.

I like hearing about people doing something the like and becoming a success at it.

I know what ya mean, I’ll get a BPS gift card, I swear it’s like the sirens calling the sailors into the reef. I’m like, do I spent it on one item or a bunch of lures or plastics?

When I can’t reach them in the trees or get them unsnagged. But really I usually lose them way before they need retired. I will even pick out the older ones when I’m going to fish in a high risk area.

I never get tired of see that…. Thanks for sharing. Had a nest not far from my house, watched mom and pops raise their family for two years in a row, storm came and took the tee top out…. Glad it was off season for them.

I use Bass Pro’s and haven’t had that problem yet.
